Since the recent changes to Succession Mystic, namely the damage adjustment to Absolute: Death Clout and it's flows, some of Awakened Mystics best damage comes from stance swapping into mainhand to use this flow, rather than say, Tidal Burst. I believe this change makes sense for Succession, but I think it was overlooked that because it's an Absolute and not a Prime skill, it would be available to Awakened and change the playstyle entirely. Cast time on both of these skills is very similar, but I believe Tidal Burst actually takes a touch longer to fully cast.
Absolute: Death Clout - 6624x2
Combo: Splinter Thud - 5630x2
Combo: Bolster Thump - 5630x2 or 35,768 total (this entire chain is FG)
vs
Tidal Burst - 5022x1, Max 3 hits, Last Attack 5022x2, or 25,110 total (has to be cored for FG, now on a 5s CD, slighty longer to cast)
With the recent changes largely appearing to move away from this playstyle of stance swapping from Awakened to mainhand and back to optimize damage, I believe this was completely unintentional and overlooked when implemented for Succession from an Awakened standpoint.
There are a few obvious options to address this, i.e. just buffing the damage of Tidal Burst to at least match that of Death Clout and it's flow, and perhaps slightly speeding up the animation, to remove the need for stance swapping in and out of succession.
... Also while you're at it make Tidal Burst FG by default and make the CC's on it the Core option :)
