The approach that was taken to "improve" Nova's PvE performance impacted PvP very negatively, and didn't improve much on the PvE aspect itself.
The mobility, the fluidity, the protections, as well as the CC opportunities were harmed with the latest adjustments.

The bad
1. Mobility and Protection
The worst part is losing Nova's signature mobility, which consisted of Shift+Directional (Break Orbit) -> LMB flow (Twisted Orbit), which was removed from the game, heavily affecting both engaging, as well as disengaging possibilities, making the class non-functional in PvP scenarios, as the only alternative we have received is the changes to F (Lunge), and to how it connects to the abilities. This alternative solution to feel somewhat mobile is not protected, closes less distance, and simply having F (Lunge) as our new main bridge ability makes no sense, and doesn't feel good to play around. LMB flow (Twisted Orbit) is not a skill anymore and is causing some weird teleport scenarios as it is most likely bugged now. S+Q (Riposte) has lost its distance, making it a DPS skill with a longer AP buff on its top. We always wanted a new DPS skill, but this sacrifice was not it, the mobility felt better. The changes with W+F (Comet) heavily affect both PvE and PvP performance, as PvE repositioning, as well as PvP engage/disengage feels straight up clunky now with no clear benefits.
TLDR: Reverting to the original state and cooldown for Shift+Directional (Break Orbit), LMB flow (both Accel and Non-Accel Twisted Orbit), F (Lunge), S+Q (Riposte), and Comet (W+F) would resolve 90% of the issues of the Nova playerbase.


2. Protections in general
Apart from the dashes, replacing the most valuable FGs, namely Slicing Ring (Q) and Star's Call (Shift+LMB) to SA made the class feel more vulnerable in PvE, while replacing Frozen Ring's (Shift+Q) SA to FG, and removing SA from Remise (S+LMB) made stalling for stamina/cooldowns significantly harder, considering how frequently they were used for that purpose. These changes were clearly designed for Orzeka.
TLDR: It's a headache in PvP, may improve endgame PvE performance.

3. CC opportunities

Removing KD from Comet (W+F) and losing Float from S+Q (Riposte) combined with the mobility adjustments makes small-scale PvP scenarios (like AoS) harder, and removes one of Nova's PvP most fun playstyles from the game, which is aggro.
Adding KD to Remise (S+LMB) while making it unprotected forces the players to pick between Swooping Ring's (W+RMB/W+Q) Stiffness core, Remise's (S+LMB) SA core, and Starfall's (Shift+RMB) FG core (considering Starfall core is viable now due to the class changes).
The class relies heavily on grab now, which makes the "Fencing playstyle" underwhelming, non-rewarding, and severely punishable.
TLDR: The CC changes were irrelevant for the "PvE performance boost", and took out a few Nova plastyles from the game, forcing us to rely on grabs.

4. Misc
The first very noticable (and painful) change was the forced display of character falling animation during LMB flow (Twisted Orbit), which funnily enough was one of the first thing people complained about when trying the changes.
A lots of skills chain and cancel in a clunky way now, will probably feel much smoother in later patches.
Fleche (S+F) is still underwhelming, but we are forced to use the whole kit now.
The non-accel kit received significant damage buffs compared to the accel kit, which doesn't line up with the fact that we are spending more time in accel now.
Increased CD on Remise (S+LMB) feels miserable, it was our bread and butter.
Putting KD on the 2nd hit of Remise (S+LMB) is way too slow to actually utilize it.

The good
Riposte (S+Q) having a longer AP buff uptime feels quite nice, as well as having the Attack/Cast speed buff being maintanable with F really hit the spot.
Slicing ring (Q) feels better to use now, even with the protection changes.

Even though we spend less time outside of accel, the non-accel version of Star's Call (Shift+LMB) feels significantly better to use, as well as more rewarding.
The DP decrease duration on Frozen Ring (Shift+Q) feels nice on higher-end spots.
Brutal Ring (Shift+F) having it's own input now haven't made such an impact, however the skill itself feels better to use.
Both accel and non-accel damage increases are always welcome.

Conclusion
Majority of the Nova playerbase are upset due to the change in flow of the class, it is a lot more disjointed with a lot less potential for outplay in PvP, a lot lower skill ceiling, and a somewhat higher skill floor. The use of PvE trashloot/hr as a metric for measuring class performance is inadequate, a lot of people played Nova for the enjoyment of fluidity, and the impact of skill upon the efficiency.

Nova has become a far worse class through this change in both PvE feel, and PvP feel and performance. Numbers have only been increased by roughly 5% at the cost of our classes identity.

The changes made to protections and CCs means that we are no longer focused on fishing for gaps, and outplaying our opponent (something that fencers typically DO in their fights), but rather sitting in our pre-awakening until we can land a grab.

This is not nova. This is just a crappy new class with zero identity, and infinite less enjoyment.

Nova is weird now. Especially since you can infinite dash, but it's not very good.

Great news! Awk Nova deserved it! Cracked speed movement for years + grab + vacuum + protected from cc + big damage. I would still delete the possibility of using grab and  she will be perfect then.

Welcome back to normal game without cheating   awk nova players.  I hope PA will also nerf  zerk, striker, mystic and awk sage soon too.

If it's possible, revert back nova awak and work from there.

There's some good idea about some change skills & realocating the buffs & durations as Abelle said, but most of changes right now are killing the fluidity of the class which, we, players, enjoyed the most since it was flowing like a river.

The class is now stiff at some point that it's like playing guardiana and the changes on W+F & on the Shift+Q are going on this sens. For a class where fast hits were the point, the changes are making the class a new one, but no more a fencer, maybe an absurd swordwoman.

There's enough sword class in the game already, let the fencer be like a river flowing with a rapier and not with a common sword.

Our gameplay is so stiff now.... we're supposed to be assassins, but how can we assassinate when it feels like I'm hitting a brick wall after every movement skill? Our class identity feels lost, even if our numbers are bigger on paper. Most Nova players play her for the class's smoothness, and we play BDO solely to play Nova. The current version of Nova feels very clunky and lacks the flow that it once had.

I always found nerfing classes and ruining the gameplay more just deterrant. Why not just buff all the other classes to be S tier and more fun for other players as well instead of regularly slighting players. :(

How many Awk Nova were destroying everthing out there? Like 3. Even then its not like they were toping charts of every metric. If Awk Nova needs a nerf fine. If it's the damage then nerf the damage. If its the Movement speed/distance then nerf the distance. What the Nova community is complaining about is they functionally ruined the core mechanics of the class. Especially when is comes to the movement. They have removed a lot of free-flow-ability of the class and lowered the class APM. I hate the changes but I would like to push the reversion of the movement combo, while maintaining the distance nerfs. Or at the very least functionally swapping the current iterations of lunge and twisted orbit so we can move somewhat similarly to how we used to. By this I mean makeing twisted orbit the flow with the same range and CD changes as what is currently lunge. Effectively swaping the inputs (I just know don't how it would work on a coding level so say swap the inputs). Having to remove your hand from W to use (F) lunge to move after using Shift W is a nightmare. Doubley so in accel.  If we could push this. I will suffer the rest in silence.

Buffing every class is gonna lead to even more of a mess. People complain about everything being broken which many classes are. But everytime pa tries to change anything at all. People lose their minds. Nova for the longest time was overturned with its speed and even has grab in its kit. Im glad she finally got nerfed. Im glad awak dk got nerfed I wish they keep nerfing all these broken classes to be more normal. The problem with nerfing is no one wants their class to be nerfed.

PS: every class will never be s tier. Thats impossible because everyone skill level at the class is different from eachother.
