This most recent pass of class balance has shown that there is simply little effort being put in on Pearl Abyss's part. The strongest classes remain un-nerfed. Classes that didn't deserve buffs were buffed. Classes that didn't deserve nerfs were nerfed. Even worse, some classes having their identities or playstyles completely ripped away and changed to a style that is less fun and incoherent to anyone that was actually playing the class before. Dedicated players who are deeply invest into their classes are clearly not being consulted on how these changes should be made.
If balance is going to be handled this way; it really feels like Pearl Abyss is saying "if you don't like it, reroll." Well, if you want people to reroll to the few classes you seem to have decided deserve to be viable, then..
Make the following account-wide:
Weapons/Armor
Experience
Weight
Inventory
Any outfits and accessories that are not class-specific
Dances
Frankly, most players don't even believe that PA is balancing in good faith at this point when there is more profit in making new or certain classes too strong for a limited amount of time only to later nerf them and stop caring about them.
We're talking about people spending hundreds of dollars or more on a single class, only to have the carpet pulled out from under them on what they enjoyed about said class in the first place.
This should apply doubly-so on things that are limited time on the pearlshop like dances, which should've been account-wide in the first place, but especially so when people are having their characters destroyed out from under them at random.

I want my Badakka outfit and my Flamenco dance back!!!!
Experience I don't want account wide until they address the "murdering players doing AFK activities outside of town" issue. As long as my fisher can be killed I don't want to level it past 49.
Everything else ++

Issue? It's not an issue. There are safezones where you cannot be killed and outside those zones you can be killed with a penalty to whoever does kill you. The only issue I see is exploiting a sub lvl 50 feature that was meant as a protection to newly created characters so that they would not get spam killed upon creation.

Would be too easy to afk fish in the saefezone and they couldn't complain then y'know
They really should, but I don't think PA can do it/ afford it, considering yet what they just did to loyalties character slot xP

You can't get all fishing titles in safe zones.

People push afk fishers out of the safe zone to kill them, too...

Every time the topic of red player penalties is brought up all the PKs say "just do the AFK activity on a level 49" and here you are wanting remove that protection. Do you just want to murder AFK players?
People kind of going off on a tangent about the fishing thing. They can fix that half a dozen other ways. I just want people to be able to play what they want and have confidence in making purchases on things like dances. There is no confidence when you buy an outfit for a class you love and PA can just come along one day and turn your class into something that is no longer fun to play.
I'd say an evolution of the tag system could be a better solution.
