Suggestion(s)/Comment(s): Allow players to tag and copy gear to multiple characters instead of just one, enabling them to experience and enjoy a broader range of classes. Or remove the city restrictions making the tag feature much more usable and fast.

Details: Since I started playing BDO in 2017 in SA server (now on EU) I have tried to find "my" class, DK has been one of those I like the most, but Nova, Sorc, Deadeye, Mystic, Ninja, Dosa, and many more has my heart just as much, and I am always paralized on choosing the one I love more, because I love all of them, this made me realize I love bdo, not a class. The action combat system and character animations in Black Desert Online are among its greatest strengths, and with an increasing number of compelling characters being released, players naturally want to explore multiple classes. Currently, the game limits us to tagging only one additional character, with gear copying requiring significant resources each time. From time to time we have tag events, that lasts a good time, but there is always a drag of untagging going to the same city again, and then i can enjoy another class, and with a world as big as bdo, i think it is an unecessary thing that depletes the fun as I have limited time to play the game, I wanted to use different characters in different grind zones, just because I love the diversity in BDO.

My suggestion is to expand this tagging system, allowing players to tag multiple (or at least one more haha) characters simultaneously—such as Nova, Dark Knight, Deadeye, Mystic, Sorceress, and Maegu—and freely swap between them using the same gear without repeatedly incurring high tagging costs. Or maybe just removing the city restrictions making the tag feature much more usable and fast.

This change would greatly enhance player enjoyment by encouraging experimentation with various classes and playstyles, keeping the game experience fresh and engaging. It also aligns with the growing diversity of classes introduced into the game, helping players maximize their experience with Black Desert Online’s unique and enjoyable combat system.

They've said they can't do more than 1 tag without rewriting the tag code. I wouldn't expect it any time soon, but who knows, maybe we'll get surprised.

I wouldnt expect to see it at all outside of the pearlshop to "expand" your tag slots

Or just make tag  free, 45 fuel is not big money today, but when you always need retag, it's already billions. Just why?

For example, my main is woosa who is one of the worst for pve and I still don't know what class I should make my new main, we probably will wait  half year for PVP balance...   So,  weekly party bosses I do for shai, oluns for witch,  GL for sage, orzeka for  zerk. Also I like trying other  classes time by time for PVE and PVP.  When we have event I can do it without problems, but why I cant do it anytime I want? Why do developers limit us to just playing and enjoying the game?

Like, you cant change code now? Okay, just make tag copy gear free at least. 

Atleast they should allow everyone to have extra tag slot for shai. I often want to try new classes but it would be best to always have pocket shai tagged when needed for doing party content.

Tbh they should just make the tagged gear to be moovable between other caracters and introduce an npc which can swich your weapons to a different one. Like trade one staff for an amulet and it would keep the enhancment level and the stones. And boom problem solved since your main would still have your gear and now since you can moove your tagged gear and trade your tagged weapons as you wish you can try out classes. Tag would only be important to get the exp from grinding. 

Should just make it a tagged family. You gear your family and they get all the stats. 

They already said they can't do it with the way it's coded

It's more like they dont want to do it. They have weapon exchange coupons lol and they can create an npc who sells it. The problem is solved alredy they just refuse to implement the solution. 

Or just make gear available to all classes, much in the way they made lifeskill tools available to everyone in your family. No excuses there - the implementation is already proven possible. Most people only progress one set of gear. The sale of weapon exchange coupons are also highly limited, so being a money maker doesn't seem to be much of a reason. Then they no longer need to worry about a poorly coded tag system.
