I would like to point out that bartering is a really cool life skill, but most of the people might wanna do it all day, but they can't due to parley and 2 resets (3 if you pay to win and get a value pack), and each reset take you 1h then you finish the parley. Since I, like most of the sailors out there, spent a lot of money and time to boost our level of bartering and sailing, it would be nice to get like more trade item barter refresh based on your bartering level (like an artisan can do 4 refresh, master 5 refresh and guru 6, and when you reach guru 50 you have 7, and +1 with value pack as always) and maybe to take off a 20/30% parley from every trade you do, and 50% to ocean trade, so we can do more exchanges. Since now end game combat can go up to 2B an h, and i can get the same amount of silver by 3 refresh, why can't end game sailors compete with the same amount of silver of those who grind? getting a carrack full blue +10 now cost around 150B, and if you place even some life gear you can go up easily to 200/300B, so i feel we might deserve to get "buffed" a bit, not in term of money wise, but mostly in the time people who enjoy this want to spend the fun aspect of the game. I saw a lot of new quality of life update for bartering, but they just circle around the main problem of sailing, money wise and time wise is not worth for most of the people to do it, and it demoralize new player in doing it, so people do it because it's content, even though limited daily by some non sense, now there is no clue in holding money from bartering like it was in 2020, let us sailor free to enjoy your vast ocean and to have fun.

Since you can do all life skill and combat/PVP all day long, why bartering can't?

Because like everything some players take 1h per refresh and I can do all the money trades for all 3 refreshes in an hour if I want because I have so much stuff built up. They did let you barter all day and had to change it because players would actually barter all day and back then it was really good money. It is hard to balance it i guess
