Transfer to Steam Black Desert possibility?

My wife abd I have played BDO for years and we have a LOT of stuff and characters. We then took a break for about the last year. During that time we have ported all of our other games over to Steam, keeping everything nice and neat on our new monster gaming rigs. The only one left is BDO. Now we get a news update about a new character we want to play, but ONLY on steam with everything else we play.
I read that we cannot transfer our PA account to Steam, but I also read that we can do a data transfer from PC to steam but cannot find info on how to do it. Looked for hours with no luck. We have SO much stuff and multiple HIGH level characters and do not want to start completely over. We also have a lot of purchased items we don't want to lose like backpacks. Guessing over 100 USD worth of items and I don't throw money away. I don't mind re-buying the game on Steam, I just want all my PA account stuff.
How can I do this?

No, this is not possible. If you have a website account, it will stay like that. There is no way to transfer to steam or from steam.

I want it the other way around. I would love to be able to AFK fish and play other steam games, but since BDO is so resource intensive even minimized I can't. I also would like to put BDO on my 2nd desktop and run it, but steam doesn't allow you to play your account on 2 PCs at the same time.

Actually, it does. If you start BDO on pc1 then login to steam on pc2 and start another game it will logout your steam session on pc1 but BDO will still keep running. You'll just loose access to steam overlay and other features. But that's about it. Have done that quite often back in the day.

Why don't you just add the PA client as non-Steam game to your Steam client? That way you can launch it through Steam with your other games and probably wouldn't even notice much difference.

tbh your "high level" characters are just lv 61 and you just have a "gearscore" of 553 so getting that back takes barely any time. So if you really want to have the game on steam just start over.
