Hello all,

I feel like Kuit Islands should have a storage access similar to Muiquun. With the upcoming Global Lab patch notes (6/13/25), it appears that wharf access for pirates that have been available for over a year are being removed:

  • Nampo Moodle Village - Yuan
  • Dalaenaru - Pioneer
  • Haemo Island - Gurong
  • Bukpo - Gyumuk
  • Byokgye Island - Darilong
  • Asperkan - Conion
  • O'dyllita Castle - Terane
  • O'dyllita Castle - Derana
  • Kamasylvia Castle - Silane
  • Kamasylvia Castle - Silana

Currently, pirates already have to take longer, riskier routes for bartering, which adds a unique element of danger and excitement. But without any storage access, this change severely limits pirate players’ ability to participate in bartering content. If pirates are going to be restricted to the Kuit Islands, enabling storage there seems like a practical and fair solution.

Additionally, this would benefit regular marine barterers (positive naval karma) as well, offering another strategic drop-off/pick-up location for goods in the region.

Would love to hear everyone’s thoughts, especially from other barterers or pirate-focused players.

Thank you,

Edit- updated as I replied this later in the thread:

"To clarify my suggestion as I'm not asking for multiple wharfs, just for the existing one to actually be usable. There are even occasional bugs that show the Kuit wharf as having storage access. It seems like something that could easily be activated and made functional."

Here is a screenshot of the Kuit wharf storage:

Agreed, There is not enough Storage Areas on the Map for the Growing Regions of the Game. This must have been overlooked throughout the years as teh game has quadrupled in size with added wharfs. Pearl Abyss also needs to remove the penalties to non pirates that are being sunk. Bartering Goods are NOT Trade items, they can NOT be traded at any Trade Manager in game, so why is there a Trade Penalty? Remove that and and remove Sailor Sickness from Positive Karma Sailors to Harbor a More inclusing Sailing Experience for everyone, especially those new or interesting in starting their Great Ocean Adventures.

As a player who has played for a little less than a year, BDO without LOML is not a game that I have ever played. I have built my account to barter from these wharfs thinking they were part of the game. Paid for 192/192 storage and moved everything over through a container to access barters as a pirate.

It is unfortunate to have your playstyle patched out of a game that you have never known to be any other way. I guess this was not an intended addition to the game. But why did it take a year for them to "correct" it if so? Seems rather incompetent if it was an oversight.

Storage at Kuit would be a fair addition for players who didnt understand this isn't how the game was intended to be.

Yes I support this with the way they have already set up a red storage on land for players to use i believe they should also add a wharf for those who have negative naval fame i feel it is only fair as a player who also used Land of Morning Light to barter after becoming red I never thought that this could be a simple oversight after it has been out for this long i simply thought it was a feature and not some unintended bug. I feel the only way to make up for such an oversight would be to add a storage to Kuit for red players, seeing as this is now the only wharf that will be available. I think this would honestly be a good addition for everyone, and it would be nice not to have to choose either to barter or to be red simply because of what seems to be a massive oversight and patched out of the game completely.

Come on. I didn't know this wasn't intended is some dishonest take. You a pirate. Pirates only got Kuit for years and to think the oversight was pirates had no wharfs and not that suddenly they had access to all the newer areas wharfs is crazy. This is worse than that lifeskiller complaining he can't stack furniture buffs with the 24h cake anymore when every cake says does not stack with other furniture buffs. You had access to those wharfs for a year. That was the oversight

I endorse this, adding that the War of the Roses wharfs should remain open for the participation in WotR and also Ulukita was supposed to be lawless make these alternative ports available.

Sure, but as a new player, who never played BDO before 10 or so motnhs ago. How am I supposed to know this is an oversight? I just assumed it was part of the game, being I never have seen it any other way. A year is a really long time for an "Accident" xD But hey it's PA and they can't fix anything but they sure know how to patch out PVP.

ya i agree it's pretty bad oversight.  it specifically says Kuit only if you hover your mouse over your naval fame.

Yea, I am not arguing for it to remain the way it is since it is clearly broken. I just think the fact it took them over a year to realize that they implement half broken content is pretty on course for PAs level of quality control. As a newer player it just makes me trust them even less.

It is also unfortunate in the regard that it further enforces the negative feelings a lot of people have towards development choices by PA. How can we decipher what is "intended" and what is "oversight" - when a lot of small changes get implemented with little or no public mention.

However we all know this post won't change anything, it is just sad to know that I could love a new patch and added content and years later find out it was a bug not a feature. Bad image for an already stained company.

Perhaps this is just a subjective perspective.
