The goal of this post is to store cool, new ideas for skills of any class you play. Creativity is all that matters, so leave the balancing and game engine matters to the devs and let your imagination go wild!

Ive played several classes over the years but for now Ill write about witch and wizard, who are currently my joy in this game:

Wizard

[Awakening]: Flow: Frozen Carapace. This is a flow for Aquajail Explosion. Activating it during the skill freezes the dome of water, then it violently explodes into shards of ice dealing damage over a larger area and knocking back/slowing closer enemies (meaning that CC is a smaller AoE). For those who love sound effects, we could have some glass-shattering sounds.

Input and cooldown: RMB during Aquajail Explosion. ~15 seconds cooldown.

[Awakening]: Water screen. The wizard elementalizes his body into water, moving backwards (invincible ---> forward guard) as he leaves Arne behind, who channels a dense curtain of water which blocks projectiles for a couple of seconds.

Input and cooldown: S+LMB. ~12 seconds cooldown.

[Awakening]: Flow: Ice Needles. This is a flow for Water screen. The wizard freezes the water screen left behind and morphs it into many small thorns of ice, launching them from the location water screen was located  towards the target he is aiming, applying damage and stiffness/slows.

Input and cooldown: Hold LMB after Water screen. Same cooldown as Water screen.

[Awakening]: Eruption. And alternative skill for Bolide of destruction, in the similar fashion we can choose among different succession skills. Compared to Bolide, this skill is ranged, and has forward guard. The wizard causes an abrupt, violent eruption of lava and rocks at the target location, applying damage and burn DoT. Marg also emerges with the eruption.

Witch

[Awakening]: Ascend. The witch elementalizes her body into lightning and, with Tett's support, she moves backwards and hovers over the battlefied (literally the same Awaken Dosa skill except that instead of moving forward when using it, you move backwards).

Input and cooldown: S+LMB. ~15 seconds.

[Awakening]: Flow: Crashing lightning. A flow to Ascend. The witch elementalizes into lightning again and, from the ''hovering state'' she was, she may leap into any direction and crash as a powerful lightning strike, dealing damage and applying stun around the area she lands.

Input and cooldown: A/W/D/S OR Spacebar to cancel and drop directly below her location. Same cooldown as Ascend.

[Awakening]: Flow: Sand Blast. A flow to Thorns of Denial. The witch ''absorbs'' or ''recycles'' the summoned earthen spikes from Thorns of Denial (giving it a more natural despawn to the animation) and gathers the magic into the sphera to launch a sand projectile that explodes upon contact (similar to lightning barrage), applying AoE damage and -Magic DP debuff.

Input and cooldown: RMB during Thorns of Denial. ~12 seconds cooldown.

[Awakening]: Crush. Could be a passive that autoactivates with Equilibrium Break, similar to Fissure Wave's passive. Two stone walls would emerge in each side of the target area, they then impact with each other, crushing enemies between. Applies damage and stun.

Successions

Much can be said about these kits. It is hard to suggest an idea without entering into balancing issues. I havent had many brilliant ideas for them, but surely they'll arrive in time.

[Magic circles]: A core element to the fantasy of sorcery in games. I believe it'd be hard to implement this in BDO but we're here just for ideas anyways.

Upon activation, a magical circle is drawn over a large area visible to the caster only (its diameter should be a bit larger than one cast of teleport). As long as the caster manages to remain within the magic circle, Magical Shield, and Sage's memory is applied to the caster, regardless if these abilities are in cooldown (but they do NOT stack).

Optionally, Speed spell is also applied to all allies within the area and the buff lasts up to 10 seconds after leaving the area or when the magic circle disappears.

When casting Protected Area or any healing spell within the magic circle, a weaker replication of the spell is applied to allies within the magic circle.

Input and cooldown: quickslot. ~30 seconds.

Perhaps move this to the class discussion section? PA doesn't take feedback on classes from the forums, especially not the NA/EU ones. The forums are basically for people to talk to each other about what they wish PA would do or fix.

I actually initially posted this on the class discussion forums, yet right now I was looking for it there only to find it here in the Feedback section.

I also just double checked to make 100% sure, the link I sent to my friend when I posted it also says ''class discussion'' so yeah the post just got moved to the feedback section.
