Suggestion(s)/Comment(s): Once more this class is being left behind as everyone else recieves big changes for both PvE and PvP.

Details:

Succession Nova Required PvE Buffs;

Make her full damage apply when at close range.

Chain damage helps support some dps loss when hugging an enemy cause the mace head will go far past them or summons will jump past the enemy and miss hits. 

If possible, increase the range of the AoEs near Novas body so that everything will land and not require perfect positioning.  Smaller targets, especially mobile ones where you cannot create enough space and have time to attack recieve a lot less damage. 

Tl;DR extend all our AoE damage including summons to at least where Nova is standing so that DPS remains consistent 

-Shift Q Stamma's Mate -2s Cooldown Reduction
From 9s to 7s, currently the 9s cooldown ruins her combo entirely and throws off her DPS flow. Matching the other cooldowns would help significantly.


-Passed Pawn from 774% to 1150%
As of right now summons are very weak, and feel lacking making her overall kit very weak.

-King of The Dead from 868% to 1350%

As of right now summons are very weak, and feel lacking making her overall kit very weak.

-Shift+LMB Fianchetto from 8360% to 9196%
Damage increase needed, compared to the rest of the combo this skill lacks output 

-W+RMB Vengeful Star from 3314% to 4308% on all hits
Significant damage increase, this skill is a quick filler to allow for continous combos but it barely does damage

-S+LMB Bitter Reign Animation+Linking speed up
Animation speed increase significantly, this skill is also a filler skill but its so slow that it hurts DPS even using it

-Shift+E Storming Star Add Slam Linking

Add in Cancel Link in to the Last Hit of the skill with Left Click

-Shift+Z Skill Enhancement: Bitter Star: from Attack 1: 3395% Attack 2: 2830% to Attack 1: 4074% Attack 2: 3679%
Damage increase needed, Skill Enhancements "Rabams" are barely used for Nova because they're slow or weak

-LMB+RMB Chain Strike from Attack 1: 1865% Attack 2: 1865% to Attack 1: 3986% Attack 2: 3986% and Skill animation speed increase and add Linking
 This skill is the same starting animation as S+RMB Icy Thorns, but does significantly less damage, and is significantly slower.
Increasing it's animation speed and damage will make it a skill we can use, as it's useless 

Also add more abilities it can link in to and from

-Mauling Star Animation+Linking speed up, Damage increase from x2 to x3 hits
Animation speed increase, and faster cast linking
Increase damage dealt

-Shift+C Frozen Earth from x5 hits to x7 hits
Damage increase similar to guardians god incinerator as the animation is long and damage is slow on top of it having a very long cooldown.

-Shift+WASD Icy Fog -0.5s Cooldown reduction

Remove the .5s cd and make it 1s flat

- Shift+W Quoratums Opening 2s Cooldown reduction

From 5s to 3s

-Shift+X Skill Enhancement: Frozen Chain: Increase damage from Attack 1: 1935% Attack 2: 3868% to Attack 1: 2515% Attack 2: 4641%
Currently this skill is NOT used, and giving it a boost in damage will make it viable 

-Space Bar Passed Pawn Add Taunt
Allow for space bar to act as a large AoE taunt, allowing us to grab aggro in shrines/dungeons/group grinding to fufill our role

-RMB Affliction damage increase from 1681% to 2185%

Another useless skill of hers, may find use with a increase in damage 

-Increase Total AP from 28 -> 40
Her current total AP doesn't allow her to reach soft caps in zones unless you have hundreds of billions of gear than other classes

EDIT;

Since Distored Guard was nerfed to no longer stack with Q block in the 10/17/2025 global labs, this makes the 50 DR it gives completely useless, as the Q block buff does not come off with proper combo spacing.

Distorted Guard;
Remove 50DR stat --> Change to --> 15% attack speed


Succession Nova PvP Buffs; 

Needs PvP damage buffs. In this state she can't one combo half of the classes with a normal pvp build while almost all of the other classes (maybe exception of shai) can do that or even more. Classes like Warrior, Berserker, Striker and Mystic can one combo other classes with 1 or more JIN: Damage Reduction crystals.

And most of the pvp aspects that makes Nova special has been nerfed. She doesn't have a strong slow to make ground even with other classes, she doesn't have a wall skill to utilize in mass PvP (yes new Winter Testudo [now Winters Bulwark] is garbage in nearly all of situations) and even her biggest advantage (ranged grab) is nerfed. 

This class has been on the bottom for far too long, her large scale uncapped combat has been the worst for several years. She deserves an identity that serves a purpose, instead of being out preformed by every single class in the same "tank" category.

I definitely agree with adding more slows for her. It's very hard to play against fast classes especially AOS. I time my one iframe perfectly to avoid getting grabbed, just for another class to grab me right after. And she can't tank in AOS at all. Even with my full DP build, I still get shredded in Q block by just 1 musa. And ofc she has 0 damage. I don't mind the lack of damage but at least make me tank then. It's not like nova has healing unless u count ebuff. So she just dies a slow death.

They not only nerfed her slow, but moved it from Shift F to Shift C and it ruined the entire point of it. It only slows for 5s too, which is just the duration of Shift C... so you cant even utilize this. It's so silly.  

  

And yeah classes win SA trades with cause all their healing over all is stronger than hers, and their mobility is better so they can run away, heal, and run back.  

  

When people learn how to properly fight her, and know to exhaust her grab then rush her and stay protected and are aware of when Axian enrage triggers, she just gets bullied down, and when she can finally catch (especially in uncapped pvp) someone she has to catch them 2-3+ times to kill, but with equal uncapped high gear, she will get one combo instead lol. Even Awk Rangers can stand up with our tank build and then they'll one combo us right back

I would also add that we are STILL the only class that can be grabbed while grabbing when we are suppose to be immune during the animation.

Also the new Winter Bulwark skill is so useless it actually CAUSES issues when used. Forcing animations just because it is active and barely applies buffs to any teammates, even if they're directly behind you.

As far as I know (other than Shai that has one skill with a range penalty) we are the only class punished by range from targets by having "Chain Attack Damage". Basically, enemies that are too close to us take, sometimes, 1/6th the ability damage because they are not in the range of where the mace lands. This also applies to where the summons apply damage. When NPCs are constantly running toward you in most grind zones, this is severely punishing for no reason... and causes us to constantly interrupt our rotations to MOVE AWAY or plan for skill rotations that avoid skills that have penalized damage.

Lastly, as a TOWER SHIELD class, we have the fewest Forward Guard skills. Other than guard, we have 2 regular skills and 2 rabaam skills with FG, none of which are used for damage. The animation for guard is slow and not even usable as a cancel as it is for most other classes with a dedicated block. 

I know this is a lot to ask, but I think it needs to be said the many issues with this class that have gone mostly ignored since the class came out 6 years ago... PLEASE PA REMEMBER WE EXIST

I think the key points for me are:

- Now that summons have full scaling with our stats, make their damage mods better and restore the class' Identity as a 'summoner'. 

- Lower the cooldown of Stamma's Mate since it's completely out of sync with the rest of the kit.

TBH it does a lot for PvP, and if we add anything to it, it will effect both pve and pvp and make it over tuned, this is just something we have to accept haha, it's probably one of the most tankiest E buffs out there next to Strikers ridiculous buff
