What Wukong Should've Been!

Everyone can agree that Wukong was one of the worst released classes for PVP. As of making this post, the class is still being neglected. The only saving grace for Wukong is that it is top tier PVE class. But this post is not about what should be done to improve the class in PVP. There are tons for post out there that talks about this topic i.e.. The Wukong discord, class forums. I want to take a different approach and rework the class to be more aesthetically pleasing for the "Journey to The West" Wukong lore enjoyers and the Black Myth Wukong(BMW) fans. The class right now feels like it was something that PA threw together, low effort, just to get something released for the ball without proper thought. This is more effort thought, a high level skill rework of how it should look, and some effects base on lore . In depth effects in PVP can be discuss further in the comment or elsewhere. 

BSR Skills Rework:

Most of this is more on animtion rework to make it look aesthetically pleasing

200% BSR SHIFT+E: This is fine keep it the way it is. It already looks cool

100% BSR S+C: Should be faster. Currently its soo slow and garbage easy to get grab. Change it to make it faster and more damage. Large AOE. Example: www.youtube.com/clip/UgkxKQGNX2WI88xmKvQxbjowlyLBGphzSZsb?si=_9NEQIEc13HTVWNC

50% BSR Shift+F: Fine the way it is great skill. Fix hit stutter otherwise you are locked in and die.

Skill Changes and New Skills:

Q Fighting Buddha: Change this skill to only be hotbar skill. You can accidently hit it and lose all your buddha state. This will free up the Q skill for a new skill discussed later on.

C Gourd Bottle: Change the skill to be what it suppose to be in rabam. Free up Rambam slot for a different or new skill. That will be discuss later

Shift+C Heaven's Pivot: This skill is suppose to be the hardest hitting strongest skill but just feels so shit to use. It slow/long animation, locks you in place if you aren't using it after W+C, which is mostly used with S+C right away so that is out the equation, or after being in the Air with Buddha Fingers. Let this skill cast with other movement skills and have it animation cancel. To make it cooler. Summon 2-4 clones line next to you to do the skill as well(Just like Jigwi's line skill) and increate the area of affect. Just increase the speed of animation of skill a little faster. Just asking to get grabbed in buddha state skills

S+F Stretch Further: This skill is the only skill he gets on his staff to strike. Imagine if you can charge skill when you go on your Pole and let it extend up. Change this skill so that it has a flow where you can hold F to let it charge for two charge .5s per charge. While charging you are in SA with 40% Dr just like "miss me again". Tap S+F to do the normal skill, hold F to go into charge mode.

New Skills Pillar Stance First charge is like the pillar stance form Black myth Wukong, where pull goes up while hold F and LMB to do a smash down attack. Example: https://www.youtube.com/clip/Ugkx5_yC_QGkq-cfHOmZhaeYxvBn9J3WaaPZ

S+LMB Extend Longer: Let this be full SA all the way through on the skill maybe give it KD Why not.

SPACE It Aint Over Yet!: Make it Iframe into SA. Makes no sense to be unprotected at the end.

New Skills. Let this have two flow. LMB and RMB flow.

SHIFT+LMB Crush: Should be full SA and flow as well. Why Not. Alow to be used after SHIFT+Q Impale When pressing RMB or F. Remove fall animation!!!!!!!!! 

SHIFT+RMB Explode: Is one of the lamest skills. Animation is boring copy of Hash. Make a buddha State version of the skill. Turn animation into League wukong cyclone while in buddha state. Allow players to move in any direction slow walking speed. Give it suction in pvp.

LMB after other skill "Once Again". This skill should be deleted. In buddha state this skill is useless the 10AP buff is nulled and it doesn't proc buddha state 30AP buff. Redo this skill to be "Ring of Fire" just like in BMW. Should be SA during skill. KB enemy upon skill use if they are unprotected, 3 hits, have it be low damage. this should be a support skill Leave a "Ring of Fire" on the Ground. recovers yours and allies health, resources and stam while in circle. Give 5 dr,eva,ap, 5% attk spd buff for 10s Just an example can be altered. Example: https://www.youtube.com/shorts/azjtPdm7L7w

Rabam Changes:

Lv. 56 Rabam: Since we changed this to "Ring of Fire" We have to rework this rabam. The first skill currently is "Pierce" change it to Grab skill. Final skill shall be called "Immobilized". Should work just like in BMW. Stun enemy from mid range. To keep this from being too broken. This skill should be unprotected and should do low damage.

The second option skill should be the same as currently. Give it SA and let it be Float cc in pvp. Gives same buffs has ring of fire for yourself. If you have the ring of fire buff already it just restores the CD

Lv 57 Rabam. Mostly stay the same. This level rabam is really good. Let the first rabam, the block jump, be faster, have more range, have stiff cc. Let the second rebam have suction, if you not going to let it do damage while spinning. Let it do a bit of damage while spinning and get rid of the suction.

Lv 58 Rabam. Since we changed the default gourd to be the same as the first skill in lvl 58 we need to come up with a new skill. Right now lvl 58 is ways to get into buddha state so we shall keep that theme. My first thought is to keep it a passive and give it a way to recover gourd energy by hitting targets. So this skill can be paired with either Shift+F or our new Shift+RMB. When doing either these two skills we should recover gourd energy by 5%. 5% is half the original amount of the normal shit gourd skill so since this can hit multiple target and be in SA this seems balanced to me. The second rabam in this lvl should be the same but lowering th CD to 3 min and allow you to recover gourd with C.

New Skills:

This is just some new skills that would be cool to the kit. Making this more lore accurate and feel aesthetically pleasing. Two of these new skills are nimbus skills. I feel like this class is missing some that.

W+E Nimbus Strike: Just like in league, Jumps on on to nimbus cloud and dashes towards target should be as far range as W+C but faster and collides with target. Summons clones when attacking. S+Q "Staff Throw": You are Wukong you should be able to throw your magical staff. Throw Staff at target do damage. Staff goes out fast and comes back fast. Should have S+RMB range. Should be FG Example www.youtube.com/clip/UgkxwGRVDNFPolhwsfwXZDtQmbNujCxjLxvm?si=OfbxlCILV2eIYDyM

Q "Stone Monkey": Since we made old Q be hotbar skill we can use Q in other creative ways. Since wukong is a stone monkey we reserves this skill to express that trait. In BMW there is skill called "Rock Solid". It allows Wukong to block incoming damage and reflect it. Let's replicate this for bdo. Skill will have 50% DR during SA and reflect <insert % damage>. If timed correctly it can block grabs just like Dosa's Q block, maybe first for first .5s of the skill. Works just like dosa SPACE, but SA. Drains stam while in skill. Recover health. can get out of skill pressing Q again or use movment skill Shift+direction. Example https://www.youtube.com/shorts/M-Gmn63NxL8

LMB+A/D "CrossStrike" Same animation has musa's crosscut. +10% attack speed SA off cool down

RMB+A/D "CloudStep" Same as dosa's. Iframe to SA. leaves a clone behind. Maybe go in stealth for a short duration

Hotbar skill to summon clones: clones that mimics your moves attacks same target 1m CD. Works like heuklang. If in buddha state summons two clones and go in stealth for a short duration. Clones can drain gourd 1% per hit. Our new rabams that restores energy per hit will help balance. 

Other:

Fix fall animation on skills

Let Wukong Glide like Lahn when in the air.

Buff PVP damage :)
