Why does this new Hex Kharazad earring show less sheet ap then my old ring

I have on a pen Black Distortion earring it show it has a ap of 21 and the Hex Kharazad ap of 18 and a Dec has ap of 21 when I put the hex Kharazad it show 30 ap lower on awakening sheet ap now is there so much hiden ap when the Kharazad hit Dec that it will give more ap ?

Each sheet AP above 310 AP gives +8 extra monster AP. So a difference of 3 sheet AP makes a difference of 27 AP in PvE.

So the bottom line at Dec it will be slightly more then my Black Distortion earring

You also get access to the Kharazad crystals, which give you additional hidden AP, and you will not incur the DP penalty of PEN distos

Disto comes with -4 to DP, Kharazad Doesnt.
thats the trade off,
Pen Disto has more AP, at the sacrifice of DP.
Kharazad has 1 less AP overall without the loss of DP.
