Why am I grinding to raise my gear score if the only endgame is to kill mobs for silver. PvP was suppose to be the end game when I started playing but half the nodes go uncontested and conquest is politics. I can't fight another player more than 2-3 times without my whole family going red.
The dungeons are once a week with very little reward, shrine bosses are hardly worth doing, and hard mode is a 4 minute cake walk once a week.
if you took such a hard stance on PvP just remove it entirely or let it be what it once was
Most endgame content has difficulty that is independent of gear. You can go on arsha Tungrad, Blood Wolves and a few other popular spots during prime time and get some fights in, but that has much more to do with landing a CC than with gear progression. Wherever your efforts over the week result in reaching a progression goal or not comes down to RNG. Endgame is, in terms of progression, staying put, or taking a tiny step forward, and strugging hard for this. Overall, progression is losing its meaning, which is troublesome for the health of the game.

PA made conscious decision to cut out most of the sandbox elements (OW PvP, dramas, alliances, most of PKs, pirates, etc.). Game was changed to be safer on purpose to squeeze out as much profit as possible from new players that are still enamored with early game. By the time players realize there's no actual endgame they already paid some money, so they're expendable. If they decide to push gear to the max with crons? Even better - more money for PA. Also, it seems to be working considering last quarter PA made more money.
So, in conclusion: your wallet is endgame.

In truth, there is no end game. You grind here, to get more gear to grind there. Rinse, repeat.
To be fair that is pretty much ALL MMO's. By their very nature they keep expanding, geting more content, and more shineies to chase. Some do progression via group dungeons, some with massive guild raids, BDO does it with heavy gambling, solo content and of course the Pearl Shop. The only time I have ever seen PVP work long term as a primary focus in a game is in FPS games where they playing field starts even, and ends even.

In recent days, PA has been making (modest) good changes to the game, and, more importantly, avoiding new bad changes. Alongside that, they have been doing massive giveaways, which speeds up progression for people (a major complaint has been the difficulty of progression). Both of these factors can explain the recent balance sheet changes for PA.

The report is for Q3. You can Google what 'Q3' means. Its not because of any changes in "recent days". Its because PA is successfully milking playerbase through monetization.
