Anyone with high gear score, I'd like some advice. The whole reason I don't move on to some area is cause I don't want my crystals to bust and I'm not paying any money to get my crystals back, so some advice from people that've been to Tenebraum and Orbita and been successful at not dying would be awesome.

I've already been to Orbita with my current gear and one of the big golems got me in the back and I lost a rebellious so I just went back to Nymphamare... but I heard from many that Orbita mobs (the big ones anyway) hit harder. I was killing them just fine, but damn, I was on the edge of my seat cause I was getting my HP knocked down by a third if I wasn't paying attention. But from the videos of Tenebraum, it doesn't look as overwhelming. Kill the regular mobs, beat up the Manticore, repeat. Pretty simple. Orbita just seems like there's more to watch out for. Anyways, could I just skip Orbita and do Tenebraum pretty safely? I don't mind if killing a round of mobs takes a little bit longer as long as my defense keeps me from dying. What matters to me is getting those han pities and herald pities (or the whole crystal... doubtful) so I don't have to wait for them on the market.

Awakening Striker

My Current GS: 816 --> 373/375/442

Edana AP/DP: 1690/1711/820

Usually, my Edana AP stays at a steady 1744 from add-ons. I watched some streamer and they had 830 DP, I think, and they were surviving just fine. Their AP was like 1930, so obviously, they will killing the mobs at a decent rate also.

If PA isn't going to stop crystal breaking, they need to give out maybe a scroll that last an hour or three to prevent crystal breaking so we can actually try out tough regions to either get used to the mechanics or see if we can actually survive or not.

My big advice because striker is like valk a melee class, if you can't wipe fast mobs at tenebraum you'll get overwhelmed by mobs, I mean after doing 4 pillars, the manticore will come and after hitting to a certain level, will go up and watch until next phase, at this point there will spawn two groups of mobs and have to hit and dash until they die. Pretty easy mechanic but don't let them be too close, if they start hitting then your hp will go away within seconds.

If you play awk dosa or awk witch - awk wizzard its way more easy, range class with good stamina management for pve and bigger AOE. Need like few hours to get used, saw HAN crystal drops roughly fast, i've seen people getting 2-3 han's in one hour no joke while I've spent there like 20h with max drop and still gathering pitty... once you get the han can try staying more at orbita but from my recent experience, orbita lags as hell with the recent updates.

Good advice. All the mobs could overwhelm me if I don't kill them fast enough. At Orbita, I definitely experienced the lag there before and when I died. Typically, I overgear from slow progress and enhancing to ensure that I can definitely take on a zone without any risk of death. The only time I die at Nymphamare is from disconnects which totally sucks... cause I've lost crystals from that.

Orbita is actually the hardest grind zone in the game. It really isn't lag at orbita, but hit stutters from all the mobs hitting you at once. You're less likely to get overwhelmed at manticore, so I'd say give that a try for sure.

Just keep grinding at Nymphamere/Orzekea till you have enough total AP to go to Orbita. you need 1770 minimum for Orbita, youre 26 off of that right now. And i really recommend 1800 for Orbita while running 2 Bitterness and two resistance crystals for good DP. at 800+ you should be fine, ive grinded there at 730 DP on Dosa and it wasnt too bad since im a mid ranged class, and Dosa is tanky with his FG.

Tenebraum is arguably easier than Orbita, due to easy mechanics and the mobs dont hit as hard. But again, like someone else said if you wind uo not being able to kill fast enough and you get overwhelmed. Youre dead. Tenebraum is more about DPS, Orbita is about positioning. If they get back attacks on you, youre going to die.

Ya, I get cooked on those back attacks cause there's so many mobs sometimes, I can't even see where the circles are on the ground. I have a hard time telling what is the FRONT or the BACK of those big golems also... The things are just torso with arms and legs. On the naga frontliner, the thing has face and a tail and I can tell where to jump to before it lands a hit if I'm not already behind it. My self is to blame though mostly cause I get kind of lazy dealing with positioning mechanics.

Hopefully, I can score some easy crons for enhancement with the last round of gamba boxes we get.
