Region (NA/EU): Everywhere

Suggestion(s)/Comment(s): I have no idea why Pearl Abyss feels the need to force players to either use buffs during event or waste them. Let people decide for themself when and how they want to play by removing time limit on buff items gainded during events.
Details:
We have another event (Valentine's Day) which rewards players with buffs both for PVE and Lifeskills and again we can use them only during the event period. Not only the item but also the buffs it gives will disapear with event. It's 20 buffs in total with 300min duration. Thats 100h buffs during 14 days event. To fully benefit from them we would need to play 7h+ daily(even focusing on one buff its almost 4h on one activity in BDO, daily). BDO have 10+ years already - we might have been young when we started but now most of us have work and family. Cant really spend that much time in game and I dont really like to waste buffs so in the end I'm just gonna feel bad.
I dont see the logic behind the time limit on buffs.

The trend towards making buffs time-limited rather than items you can keep is annoying. What is even worse is what the time-limited buff decision confirms; PA has balanced game progression around people treating the game as a job. Income is measured in billions of silver per hour, while reaching endgame goals requires trillions of silver. This system is demotivating for players; while there has been renewed player enthusiasm for Olvia Academy, that will likely only hold until these players reach the demoralizing endgame. Players who spent thousands of hours playing the game and "ran out of things to do" complained to PA about this, and we all got super slow progression. In most games, people who spend hundreds or thousands of hours playing the game accept that they have "run out of things to do" and don't blame the game for that; why should BDO be the exception? By slowing the pace of progression, PA may have won the support/engagement of the super-hardcore player, but at the expense of turning away everyone else.

Didin't they say a not too long while ago that they are removing time expiration from event buffs? I remember that!

Expiring event buffs do not motivate to grind/lifeskill more than you are doing already. The only thing I think when I see the "will be deleted" is "Fxxx you".

Yes, one of the buffs that PA removed the time expiration from was the Ode to Heroes of Yore buff that drops from field bosses. Removing time expiration from this buff has helped motivate people to run field bosses. I don't get why they are reintroducing time expiration, it's not a productive direction to go in.
