Dear Pearl Abyss,

Could we please get an adjustment to the game's camera collision mechanics? Currently, when backing up against a building or environmental object, the camera forcibly zooms into the character's back, completely blocking visibility.

This is incredibly frustrating, especially in the middle of PvP, where turning the camera and losing your field of view can ruin a fight. Instead of the camera colliding, it would be a massive quality-of-life improvement if the obstructing environment simply became transparent. This has been a noticeable issue since the game's launch, and addressing it now would be hugely appreciated by the community.

Thanks

Character transparent, not environment transparent.  But there's more to it than either of those. Something more like first person POV handling.

No it's the camera being unable to go through environments, why they don't allow it is beyond me. If they made character transparent, that is not going to stop the camera from zooming in when its back's against the wall because the camera isn't allowed to go through walls or other parts of the environment. It is especially irritating in rbf valencia, because the environment is dense with buildings.

I call that skill issue.

How would you qualify this statement as helpful, useful, or conductive to debate, which is in fact what this whole forum section is for?
It is a rhetorical question, yet it does merrit thinking, since you took the time and effort to answer with this, might as well have been "-1", since it adds absolutely nothing new or even remotely conductive for further debate.

I don't think anyone agrees, skilled or not that the camera colliding with the environment in 3rd person game is a skill issue, to stay on topic, it's an inconvenience, maybe they can make a micro transaction for it?

But i would agree that you crying about your team all of the time in RBF is a skill issue.
