What good is the Dark Prince outfit when you have no weaponskin to match?

PA:

We need outfits with weaponskins again.  So many of us find this to be very important.  Please, don't release any new outfits until you address this problem.

Oh, and start making class-specific outfits again.  The fact that all new classes only have one is a travesty.

Thanks.

And remove PvE AP caps now.

Fortnite literally generated $6 BILLION in revenue from skins, emotes, and bundles with combinations of the two in 2025. If PA wanted to make financial gains to fund their designers/programmers, and future project - THAT is the gold mine. People want to be unique and have a HUGE variety of options to do so... whether they melt them to crons or not is up to the buyer. More cosmetics!

Fortnite is a simple battleroyal game for young players. The game does not have progression systems like RPGs. Just fast pace battle rounds.
Also it is F2P game, opening access for even more players.

MMORPG could ofc make big money too, but they would sacrifice reputation and quality in process. Going F2P is like inviting bots, hackers and gold sellers into the game. Like how Diablo Immortal made 1st billion dollar income within few months, just by having insane p2w functions.

Yes, it is time to time sad to get only costumes without weapons, but designing weapons for 31 classes requires lot of work and money.
And yes 31 classes does get very slowly more own unique outfits, some have more and some lesser.

I didn't say BDO should go free to play - I'm just saying it should have more cosmetics for their classes... quality cosmetics and be made without being F2P.

I think so many players would be happy if PA dedicates an entire year of adding nothing to the game except improvements to what's already here.  Classes are poorly balanced, the story is very poorly written, so many things in the game need to be updated, not deleted, to make them relevant again, more character voices and hairstyles should be added, more outfits designed for newer classes, players should be listened to....... People will be coming back in droves to play this game again, if they knew the game they knew and loved was back.

Instead, PA keeps pushing ahead with no viable goals, and if player counts do rise, it's due to gimmicks and events, and a lot leave once things settle down.  The player count is directly proportional to the love and care PA puts into this game, and is not bouyed by the new cron-ladder that comes every couple years.  Right now, BDO is just a cash cow for their other projects.  More time and talent must be put into this game if it is to really survive another ten years.  And you don't do it by cannibalizing the game and its players to start something new and fresh for a new set of players.  We need the old content just as much as the new, the old players just as much as the new: Everything and everyone matters.

All content must be made relevant.  That also includes keeping newer classes cool and unique with cool and unique outfits and weaponskins.

Well, the goal is to get more money from playerbase at lowest effort possible.

Weapon skins got outdated since release of sov weapons, at least this is my guess, because most of the players wear them open, without skins. Also as said above, it may be a too big workload with too little return.

Class individuall outfits classes get at release. More individual outfits create two problems:

1. They miss out on sales (because limited classes, not everyone can buy)

2. Restricting outfits to few classes leaves out people who would also like to have this outfit. What if DK gets a outfit that I want to wear on a Drak (just an exaple)?

So I think it is pretty okay, to create very different outfits, that fit different classes and give us the choice to buy it or not. In best case this would not go on the cost of loosing special designs. Aka - "class specific" outfits, but for everyone. Except release outfits.

Dark Prince is a good examle - imagine, they released it to Worrier and Drakania exclusive, imagine how many complaints would occur...

Still, should uniqueness be thrown out for the sake of ease of the least common denominator?  And as far as people whining, PA listens to very little of that, and only fixes the easy-to-correct stuff.  That's a major reason why this game is not doing nearly as well as it should.

Remember what Syndro said in The Incredibles:  "If everyone is super, no one is."

So, if everyone looks and dresses the same, where is the fun in that?  And in my opinion, the sovereign design is meh.

And by the way, BDO had a very healthy playerbase back when they treated all classes as special.  Back when the open world was still alive and PvP was allowed.  Back when we didn't have to climb cron-ladders.  Back when this game wasn't an easy to milk cash-cow.

*Points to Final Fantasy XIV.*
All gear can be made into fashion to wear. Not an exaggeration - literally. All. Of. It. They recently removed class restrictions, meaning tank gear can be worn by casters. Or crafters (FFXIV's version of lifeskillers). Glamour prisms were sold out for days. It's a subscription game where their cash shop is strictly cosmetic for dye (not RNG btw), outfits, gestures and mounts (mounts do not have differing stats sans the amount of people they can carry, most are one, some are two or three and only a couple sees you carry your entire raid group to places).

*Points to Monster Hunter.*
Not always included at the beginning, but they allow armor and weapon glamouring as well. World saw you make the cosmetic gear separately. Wilds gives you the cosmetic automatically as long as you made the weapon or armor first.

*Points to Soulframe.*
Open world game that's in 'alpha' testing. Even in alpha, you spend cents and can turn a piece of gear into a cosmetic permanently. You can still use the gear, too!

*Points to League of Legends.*
Never played it, I just know it has a ridiculous cash shop revolving around skins. On characters that you can barely see compared to the other examples. They generate so much money.

Come on, PA. It's 2026. Where are the outfits and weapon skins?
