Hey, I wanted to post something about Maehwa awakening for a while, I am essentialy a PVE player so I won't really talk about any PVP stuff. BDO is for me a chill farming game where I can relax after a day of work and sometimes when I'm super motivated play and grind a lot cause I set a goal for my character -- like saving for TET fallen god D: 
Maehwa awakening was my main for a long time, it was the first class I picked up when I started playing in 2021 cause I love the art style, the ice theme of the class. I think some of the skills are really cool, the SHIFT- F sequence is iconic for exemple. I really like her mobility and her ability to reposition behind targets with Sleet Steps and Chase...

I recently retagged her to try her out a bit in Darkseeker where I am curently farming, and dont get me wrong she actually perform pretty well there. But the class is really uncomfortable to play. She is pretty high pace, there's not really any long animation during which you can relax your hands a bit. Your constently pressing shift and mouse buttons so the fingers get fatigue pretty quickly. The class dont have an infinite awakening combo so you're also almost forced to use main hand abilities, which is not bad in essence but it feels a bit clunky sometimes : for exemple, when using decapitating dragon you're animation locked at the end (unless you use chase) ; you also use whirlwind cut sometimes which doesnt feel any good animation wize, and razorblade corolla is great but could be a little faster. The SHIFT LMB - LMB spell is OK in concept but it's a bit slow and the AOE is really poor.
But one of the main issues I have is the WE and SE abilities, and what they did to them a while back is completly sloppy in my opinion... I don't understand them, maybe they are usefulll in PVP, but I seriously doubt they are amazing... I feel like you could delete these two spells and try to give maehwa awake 1 or 2 real signature abilities, I mean spells with an actual idea behind them, something orginal who could help define the classe better.
Actually there is also The Tenacious Edge/Cold snap that are completly out of date in concept... maybe delete them also XD
 
So what I'm trying to say is the class is not horrible to play but it really feels like she's missing something, and to be honest, when I think about it, it has always felt like this compared to other class. The class has felt unfinished ever since I play the game.

I think maewha could get a little love on her AOEs and PVE performance, but I mostly think she need a small rework, she is such a cool class, a cool concept, she deserved to get more attention. So yes PA please work a bit on Maehwa Awakening and try to give her a new life.

Ideas to make the class better (or no, who knows I'm just a filthy casual ^^) :

- Bigger Aoe on Petal Drill and faster second part
- 10-20% reduce charge time of Petal Bloom and maybe a little less CD
- Make Flow Moonlight dash aplly Petal Bloom Add ons
- Make Frost flower snapier, and combo better with other skills - or delete it who knows, but could be a good filer hability actually.
- Make attack speed buff of Sleet Steps apply even when used during cooldown : it's just annoying to lose the buff randomly sometimes.
- Delete Ice Fang - maybe delete also tenacious edge and coldsnap
- Create a new spell that is a "big" Aoe: maybe something like a slam to the ground with the kerispear. Make is so it can also work as a flow to the Blue Moon (shift q)
- Create another new spell (WE ?) : why not adapt some of wukong animations ? Wukong has great spells/animations that feels really nice, a spell inspired from wukong's SHIFT-LMB could be amazing.
- Add CC to some of these new spells for pvp ???
- Make Chaos crimson dust also activate by pressing LMB after Decapitation Dragon

Anyway thanks for the game, been playing on and off for 5 years, great times, so thanks for everything.
