To the Pearl Abyss Development and Global Management Teams, I am writing this not merely as a player, but as a long-term consumer who has invested hundreds of euros (or more) in a product that has been intentionally sabotaged in the latest patch. The recent changes to the Drakania Awakening protection mechanics are not "balance adjustments"—they are a fundamental destruction of the character’s operational capacity.

1. Total Annihilation of PvP Viability: In Black Desert, efficiency is the only metric that matters. By removing Protections during core combat animations (and leaving bugs like Tectonic Slam unaddressed), you have turned a high-tier fragger into a liability.

1. Financial Devaluation of Character-Bound Assets: When a player spends hundreds of euros on Weight Limit, Inventory Slots, and Outfits, they are investing in the performance of that specific character.

By making the Draknia unplayable for high-end fragging, you have effectively frozen our fun. My paid Weight Limit is now useless because the character doesnt need all of the elixirs for pvp. My paid Inventory is now a sunk cost on a character that can no longer compete with the "meta" classes. This is a bait-and-switch maneuver: selling convenience for a "good class" and then removing the protection while keeping the money.

1. Tactical Failure in Design: Applying nerfs to the global kit without compensation is a sign of poor development foresight. You are punishing the 10-year PvP player base for "balance" issues that only exist in the thoughts of the delusional. You have transformed a Terminator into a floor simulator, ignoring the muscle memory and the financial commitment of your veterans.

Our Demands are Non-Negotiable: Immediate Reversion of Protection/CC changes. Global Compensation: If the Drakis to remain in this crippled state, we demand Account-Wide Weight and Inventory Transfer Coupons at no silver/pearl cost. Formal Acknowledgement: Stop ignoring the feedback from Global Lab. We warned you this would happen. Pearl Abyss, you are devaluing your own brand. We did not invest hundreds of euros to be "handicapped" by incompetent balancing. Fix Drak or provide a free exit strategy for our investments.

100% Two years of feedback from the Drakania community, somehow ended up with a gargantuan disaster of a global labs patch which somehow addressed 0 issues with the class and made it unplayable in even 1v1 Battle Arena. We deserve better as consumers investing time, effort and hard-earned cash.

Edit: Maybe Pearl Abyss' class balancing team should play their own game & specifically test characters in real scenario's before making decisions.

PA doesn't seem to test all the classes for either PvP or PvE, rolling out major changes or adding new content without making sure everyone has a realistic way to participate, it's a major problem. Detailed and specific feedback is vital, mention all the class skills that have problems by name one by one. Maybe something will be done about the confused state of BDO combat.
