Hello. There is an alliance mechanic in the game for a long time. It allows several guilds to form a single larger guild to participate in sieges. However, I believe that in its current form, this mechanic is detrimental to the game and the community (as it has an advantage over a regular guild). The main problem is that alliances can only have a maximum of 150 players (while guilds have 100 players). Meanwhile, high-level siege content such as territory sieges, castle sieges, or the War of the Roses, requires a maximum of 100 players. This can create a "pool" of players, which leads to the following problems:
1. Players don't participate in the content for which alliances were created.
2. Players form groups of up to 150 players instead of joining with other guilds to reach 100 or creating their own guild.
3. Alliances with 150 players can "select" the best players up to 100 (for territory and castle sieges), creating unfair competition between guilds.
In summary, I believe the guild alliance mechanics should be changed and limited to 100 or 110 players, just like regular guilds. There is currently no content in the game that requires 150 players.
Most 150-man alliances can barely field 60 players in 2026.
PvP is in no state that it could survive the removal of the alliance system, or the reduction to 100-man alliances.
