Awakening Drakania Recent Changes
Hello I'm the Awaken Drakania player FLOWERS: https://www.youtube.com/@xpFlowers
I've been playing and LOVING Drakania since release in 2022 so much so that I started content creating for the aspect of showcasing the amazing class you all created. This is also my very first post on the topic of Drakania (and first post in general) even after years of nerfs and disapointment. However the recent changes shine light on the fact that you all realize a change to Awakening Drakania is needed.
The changes are not on point enough but it buffed exactly what I asked for in regards to more SA (Super Armor). However with losing it's most VALUABLE cc(crowd control/debuff) with
Tip of the Scale in Dragonblood's Knockdown, it is now lacking a reasonable way to CC(crowd control/debuff) in PvP.
Also with the camera lock feature put on the skill it doesn't add up with it losing the CC. Since it lost the "overpowered" knockdown which mainly utilized the camera movement to get awkwardly behind targets, giving back the camera movement wouldn't be an issue and won't make the skill feel clunky to use.
Like I stated previously, I've been playing Awakening Drakania since release, and when it was released it had a skill called
Aerial Burst that had Super Armor. The current state of Aerial Burst is mainly unused, and if it IS used, its for a out of combat heal. So the stun it has is irrelavent in its current state.
I believe if Aerial Burst returned to its previous state with the Super Armor and the Stun, Drakania after ALL the NERFS it has recieved over the past years, would be in a non-broken BUT viable state. This change will allow Awakening Drakania's (which currently is the most focused class in small scale applications like Arena of Solare) to be able to have Aerial Burst as a utility to combat attackers while also having a useful tool to initiate a potential combo chain with.
As a greedy ask, Making
Hexeblood: Tip of the Scale Super Armor would massively help with the recent change to Storm Maul being able to cancel into Hexeblood: Tip of the Scale, as Storm Maul is mainly unprotected as the invulnerablity last only in the start of the ability and not the movement.
In conclusion, Again, I love Awakening Drakania and will find her optimal playstyle with any change made. However, It has just got to the point of other classes MASSIVELY overperforming to the point where I feel the need to make a post looking for change. As someone who has played the class since release, I believe this is the changes that she needs to be decent (not overpowered) but viable.
Thank you for reading.
All hail Wolves
At the very least they should revoke the camera cahnges on TIp of the scale and if possible make core sundering roar or extinction SA.
Ngl these suggested changes are still not enough to make her viable in large scale scenarios.
Red tip SA? I'll take that over our actual blue tip anyday, but why not SA roar (KD moved to core) and SA extinction (KD moved to core) instead of aerial burst?
These are the change we should aim for. I'd settle for at least one of them being an SA dmg skill.
AB? And not Extinction or Hexe Sundering Roar? What game are you even playing

Oh god dude why did you have to even mention Hexeblood:tip of the scale ? now they just made its core to SA and they think awake drak is done. Should have only asked for Extinction or Sundering Roar instead and class would have been so much better.
