Suggestion(s)/Comment(s): Stop with modern outfit. The quality is bad and make no sense in BDO's universe.
Details: Since couple of years we're getting modern due to fact that some BDO players cried to get them. How come ? It's because of Lost Ark. When that game released, they put many type of outfits including modern ones.

At first, Pearl Abyss, you said no during a bal. Then the bal after, you showed us the very first modern outfit.

Honestly speaking, it was just few modern outfits, I wouldn't be there complaining. But since that day, that announcement, most of the outfits we're getting are modern.
And even worst, it's just an outfit, no weapons to match them. Because yes, it seems that Pearl Abyss, you don't want to create new weapon skins. It's been legit years since the last time we got weapon skins, but I'll come back on that later.

The second issue, and mostly biggest issue the quality.

The quality of many new modern outfits is an absolute disaster.
The textures are incredibly bad, making dye super hard and totaly looking different that what it should be. Even worst, if we talk about dye, many details of those outfits are completely ignored or showing INSANE PIXELS.

And that's an issue that also touch a lot of previous outfits.

I'll take a nice example Angelion armor and the demon version. I took them and gosh it was just awful.
Colours aren't good due to the texture. How is that even possible ? You want to make them look like leather, it doesn't become leather. You want them look like cloth ? Same issue. You want to apply to a full black colour ? You cannot. It looks grey and shine for no reason even if you didn't apply any shining specific dye.


You are releasing new outfits without even checking the quality. And don't tell us it's hard to make good outfit because you already made it in the past.

This week, we're getting a new outfit, exclusive for very few classes. And you already announced the new outfit for the next week..

Even worst, for those modern outfits, we never got ANY MODERN WEAPON SKINS.

RELEASE NEW WEAPON SKINS.


Also to point some quality issue, let me share some from an outfit I like on the Berserk.

Outfit name : Ulfhedinn.

Why is there so much difference of quality between both logo ? One is decent, the other one has insane pixel showing up.


Why does the outfit has a well made fur, and then those weird hairs on the shoulder ? What happened ?


Even if you dye the the helmet of the outfit, some part still bugged and doesn't colour like the rest. Another nice bug that hasn't been fixed since years.


In the next pictures, what happened with the quality ? On the gloves, the Runes are super bad.
Yet, on the screenshot right under, we can see runes with really good quality.
Again, what happened ?
Also what happened with the fact that, the runes on the gloves can be dye separately from the rest of the gloves, but the runes on the dreads cannot be dye separately ?



What happened with the boots ? What is that quality ?



Honestly I'm showing that but it's the same on many outfits...

i will tell you why they putting more and more modern outfits nowadays. 

it's simple, because players like us we like them, and will pay for them, period.

we ain't much fan of hard core armors, we want pretty dresses.

take a look at towns, how many of players wearing gears or armored-cosmetics, how many of players are wearing modern clothes? it's work of the market.

you do have points how low the quality those outfits are, and yes they should put more fantasy armored outfits on. but that's another topic, isn't it?

imagine if they really listen to your opinions and shut down one of their major incomes...

I like modern outfits much more than 99% outfits that were released for the last 10 years.

What bothers me is an obvious focus on developing outfits in this modern style, with no new diagetic ("in universe") outfits as of late.

I don't mind having modern outfits– more power to players and money to PA– but it shouldn't be the focus.  Release 2-3 diagetic outfits, then 1 modern, repeat.  Could start by giving the newer classes more Premium set options unique to them (or a few), so we aren't limited to only 1-2.

Yeah, pretty much. A few somewhat modern outfits are fine. But this is just an endless barrage of pure mindless brain-rotting slop. The game has lost its identity when it comes to character design because of things like this. You can´t have a fantasy where old-fashioned cannons and matchlocks are the peak of conventional modern technology, then shove in 21st-century slop outfits like its SIMs or something, give new class revolvers, shotguns and a literal RPG, and expect no one to raise an eyebrow. Believe it or not folks, there are still people left in this game who cared about the worldbuilding it was trying to achieve before this trash carpet bombing started.

Modern outfits look much better than many of the original outfits like Karin, Archer Guard, Kyrill etc... 

I can agree than many of the newer outfits are losing their uniqueness? Like the Signature Iconic almost looks the same as the new Black Horizon outfit when cape is hidden. 

Regardles, I like modern outfits. They're cute. They should make more class specific outfits though. Like Mystic's Sapphire Storm outfit. It's specific to Mystic and looks great. Would be cool.

You can have pretty dresses in a thematically-appropriate style.  Not every outfit needs to look like it was swiped from a K-pop band.

Just accept that people have different tastes just like yourself and git gud. Be honest, there a TON of people LIKING these outfits. Why would you force them to do without them? Only becauese YOU don't like it? Who said your opinion is more valid than theirs? 

Nice strawman.  The existence of one thematically-appropriate outfit does not justify the existence of one (or rather, several) non-appropriate outfits, and distinctions between classes has zero equivalence with outfit designs.  BDO was designed with a certain aesthetic of a medieval/early renaissance fantasy realm with a touch of steampunk; not a modern era setting.  These modern outfits do not belong in the game world that was originally created or that we bought into.

People who like the modern outfits can go play a game with a modern aesthetic, and stop trying to force the modern look into a game where it doesn't fit.  It's perfectly reasonable to expect a game to maintain a cohesive aesthetic across all of its components.
