The maximum difference between one class is whether the player plays Succession or Awakening and even then there are some classes that don't have it or one variant is so much better that it doesn't make sense to play the other and this applies to both PVE and PVP.
The best diversity between individual players is achieved by not having classes.
Something like this:
- Players choose between skills for the character (for example, out of 100 different skills, they can choose 10).
- Players can choose which weapon/weapons they will use.
- Players can choose which skills they will use for given weapons (something similar to skills for the character).
Keyboard shortcuts:
- players choose which skill to assign to which key (Shift+F, Shift+RMB, S+E, etc.)
Instead of adding new classes:
- new weapons and new skills for the character and weapons would be added.
For beginners:
- there can be pre-prepared sets according to the role the player wants to play and when they are sufficiently familiar with the game, they will adjust it according to their ideas
Advantages of this system:
- huge variety
- everyone will find what suits them best
- nothing is genderlocked
Reality:
- something like this will probably never happen in BDO, but I would like it :)
- if there is someone who is familiar with implementing such changes in games, feel free to write to me about how much it is technically possible to do.
- BDO already has "a million" skills, so they have already done the hard part of creating them.
Thank you, enjoy the game and have anice day :)
No
It will never happen.
Also the idea means to change the entire concept of the game. So big NO.
in my raid, when youre not atleast 1850 in arenas you get laughed at and we find a way to kick you out because you cant play dude^^
Dude... learn how to consolidate (combine (a number of things) into a single more effective or coherent whole) your thoughts.
