Suggestion(s)/Comment(s): The rework is cool but still need to polished.
Details:
Today we finally got back the Altar of Blood after almost five years of rework. With my friends, we made it to wave 18 and so far, it was pretty cool. However, there are some points I'd like to address.

First point.

For the very first point, I'd like to point the queue system.
Back in 2019 to 2021, I don't remember having a queue system. So why did we get one ? Even worst, if you make a premade group, the queue can take up to 10 minutes to finally be able to enter the Altar.

That's truly a point that need to address. The actualy queue system present is BDO is truly an issue and it's not the first time we're pointing it.

Second point.

When you're doing the Altar for the first time, you must "climb" it to the point where you'll hit the illusion that'll give you trouble. But the issue, every five waves you're getting kicked from the Altar.

That doesn't make sense, you shouldn't be kick from the Altar when you're trying to reach highest illusion you can do. Even worst, once kicked, your group gets also disband for no reason.

Third point.

We're limited to 5 tries in case we fail. This point also doesn't make sense. Beside shrines and Edania bosses, if you fail dungeons or Gladios you don't have a limited amount of try. So why are we limited there ? If you fail, you should stay in the Altar until you succeed or give up.

Fourth point.

The Altar is showing some PVE class issue.
What I mean it's that, I went on Berserk awakening and beside Devastation, I don't have big AoEs which can be sometimes an issue. And in the same time, even if I have 392 AP, some of the Berserk awakening were not doing nice damage. Some could oneshot, some couldn't.

Regarding the wave we're doing it can be an issue. For example during the wave 19, if you don't have big damage and big AoE, it can be a bit tricky.

And the last problem, cooldowns. Lucky me, Berserk awakening has pretty short cooldowns but if I were on my Warrior, Succession or Awakening it would have been a big problem because the cooldowns.

Some classes will be definitly good for those kind of waves, but many won't be.

Last point.

Regarding rewards, the Resplendent Origin of Dark Hunger is a cool addition but the fact it gives only a +1 FS is not good. I should be more 3-5 FS per Resplendent Origin of Dark Hunger.

Lately, getting a 350 FS is very important and having an item that can help you reaching it is very important. But if it takes too long to upgrade the failstack because it gives only a +1, it's a bit stupid.

The queue timer and the kick-out are server performance/amount of slots thing. The disbanded group must be a bug, we lost our party sometimes just by entering the altar.

The issue with non-aoe and long cooldown classes is a really serious one. It is doable but small aoe classes are clearly disadvantaged and I bet, the "You can't go with us if you play class X" will occur more than ever. It would already be enough to make the trash mobs slower (instead of sprinting in your face).

I've indeed tried doing it on Musa Awakening, and on certain stages I was completely screwed because I couldn't keep up at all.
Switch to Dosa Awakening and I was breezing through it with one hand.
There's clearly no thought put into it or the devs only played it with their favoured classes (we all know which).

I wonder where the dislike comes from.
Dosa awa has an illegal aoe, I saw people doing it and they had easier times than a guardian. I bet succ witches have a nice time too.

I the end it still ends up being a "skill issue" but imo, this time it is a unnecessary and just annoying aoe/skill check.
And again, random groups will get even more rough on picking classes esp. for later stages (correct me if I'm wrong).

I would also recommend to nerf the speed of certain monsters, like the dogs on the 4th stage. It's hilarious I tried it several times with different people still can't move on because the monster like torpedos swarming every direction almost impossible to complete the stage...

I just ran it with a group, and we also had trouble with the infamous Stage 4 dogs. It might have been doable with a stronger group (I was below AP for that level, and it showed) - but considering they come from two doors at once at Ludicrous Speed, and there's guys still coming from the main one, this really could probably use some tuning.

But another issue is that we seemed to be hitting a LOT of desync problems. Even my stronger companions had stuff just... not die sometimes, or show as if it hadn't (the Salun bears in Stage 2 would sometimes stand there running against the altar for several seconds). Given the structure of the mode, that's a tremendous issue. We can't afford to be chasing down mobs who are already dead because they show as alive!

And in stage 3, Kutum initially spawned right under me without so much as a warning circle first, and I died instantly, despite more than meeting the DP gearscore and total recommendations. My allies were able to bring it down, but having to sit out the whole level wasn't much fun. I don't know if that was a sync issue again, a "you need to know where to stand to be safe when it spawns" thing (annoying, but avoidable)... or something that can just happen if you're unlucky and playing a "squishier" class, in which case, put a warning circle up ahead of its arrival. Dying because I needed to move/i-frame or because I were undergeared would be fair, but randomly getting telefragged by an arriving boss through no fault of my own, not so much.
