Rifts less rewarding?

Did they change the drop rate for Rift Bosses? I and several guildies have noted a serious decline in gold bars/boxes being dropped in the last couple of weeks. Does this have something to do with the drop rate fiddling they did for the event items?

guildie just went 6/6 on gold bar boxes. would guess it's RNG like always.

I had four gold boxes last week but NONE the week before that... yep, RNG like always.

Nothing has changed in the rifts loot table, it is just RNG as others have said already, sometimes bad streaks happen and looking at your own guild is too small of sample size to take note of something like this.
