Sorry, its probably a silly question but ....
if i choose the Succession rather than awakening, do i need to get an awakening weapon ^
- does it add to our stats if its just even sitting in the slot
or
- i can just ignore it ^

30 % of the Awa AP will go into your succsession Damage and the passive from the weapon counts to 100 %
The awakening weapon is even more important than your sub weapon.
