As with the previous PvE balance update, these adjustments aim to narrow the damage gap between classes while taking into account each class's survivability, stability, and the fatigue and difficulty of combat. We also have plans for further balance adjustments to some classes.
With Inner Edania now introducing new monster zones and items, we will continue to make careful adjustments to provide Adventurers with a better PvE experience. Thank you.

Agent's PvP balance has been adjusted.First, to further reinforce Agent's assassin identity, the PvP damage of skills that embody this concept has been increased. HYPERBOOST Guide Added and Progression Pass Removed
- Added a UI where you can check HYPERBOOST steps and guides.
- Open the UI by pressing the Progression Pass
button (formerly the Progression Pass) at the top of the screen. - With the addition of this UI, the existing Progression Pass has been removed.
- However, the Game Tips section from the previous Progression Pass remains available.
- Open the UI by pressing the Progression Pass
War Proposal
Alongside the Guild Fame system update, the guild war declaration system has also changed, allowing guilds to declare war without the opposing guild's consent by spending Guild Fame. However, even in cases where both guilds wanted a war, only the guild that declared it first had to spend Guild Fame.
To address this, the War Proposal function has been added, allowing both guilds to enter a war without spending Guild Fame if they both agree.
- Added a War Proposal button next to the existing War Declaration button in the War Declaration UI.
- Using this button to propose war to another guild does not decrease Guild Fame.
- The war begins only if the target guild accepts it, and since both sides agreed to it, neither guild loses Guild Fame.
- A war started by accepting a proposal lasts for 6 hours.
- War started by accepting a War Proposal has no wait time after it ends and another proposal can be sent immediately after.

- Added an option to always reject war proposals with the addition of the War Proposal function.
- Menu (ESC) - Settings - Misc. - Reject Guild War Proposals

Fairy Appearance and Skill Selection
Black Desert features fairies with a variety of special appearances beyond the default. However, Adventurers could not freely choose an appearance for their fairy without giving up their preferred inherent skill, as each appearance came with a different skill effect.
With this update, you can now freely choose your fairy's appearance and skill separately.
- The fairy's appearance and skill can now be selected separately.
- Select the desired appearance from the list, then choose the skill to use at the bottom to apply it.
- Owned appearances are shown in the list and appearances not owned can be purchased via the Purchase button at the bottom.
- However, limited appearances whose sale period has ended will not be shown in the list.
- Only skills from appearances you currently own can be selected.

- Reduced the difficulty of certain Tachyon Trace content.
- Changed the Tag Rotation classes to Woosa and Maegu.
- Copy items to Woosa and Maegu for just 1 Silver during the period below:

Cup Extraction Change
Extracting a Cup from a reformed accessory previously required Refined Essence of Emotions. This system was originally designed to provide additional uses for various items obtained from sources such as Elvia monster zones. Now that numerous updates have brought us to Inner Edania, we determined that this purpose has diminished and that the system mainly creates inconvenience when extracting Cups from accessories. As such, we have made Cup extraction from accessories easier and more convenient.
- Changed the materials required to extract the following reformed accessories.
- Before: Refined Essence of Emotions
- After: Mirror of Equilibrium
- Wacky Toshi and the Blacksmith NPCs have stopped selling Fused Crystal of Emotions.
- Fused Crystal of Emotions can no longer be crafted.
- Related item descriptions have been updated accordingly.
- Shard of the Furious Night, Shard of the Tearful Night, Shard of the Drained Night
- With the Aug 20, 2026 (Thu) maintenance, any owned Refined Essence of Emotions and Fused Crystal of Emotions have been removed. The materials and Silver have been refunded.
- Related item descriptions have been updated accordingly.
- Changed the recurring quest for Cup Extraction offered by Lejenti in the Glish basement cellar in the Elvia Realm to no longer be acceptable.
- Accordingly, the related description on reformed accessories has been updated.
- With the Aug 20, 2026 (Thu) maintenance, any accepted quests have been canceled, and items handed over to NPCs have been returned.
- Accordingly, the related description on reformed accessories has been updated.
- Updated the description of the Mirror of Equilibrium to reflect the changes to the Cup extraction.
- Added a Processing (L) - Heating recipe that uses an unenhanced Apeiron accessory to obtain Twilight of the End x10 for the same slot.
- Example: Process unenhanced Apeiron Necklace x1 for Twilight of the End - Necklace x10.
- Added a description regarding the appearance for the Godslayer's Armor Outfit.
- Added the cheering animation when obtaining Embers of Ynix from a box in a safe zone.
- When it is obtained in monster zones, it will be displayed in the Rare Item Drop UI.
- Fixed the issue where available transformation locations of the following scrolls were displayed overlapping:
- Brave Pine Blader Transformation Scroll
- Immortal Persimmon Knight Transformation Scroll
- Holy Date Priest Transformation Scroll
- Dreamy Bubble Shaman Transformation Scroll
- Frosty Chestnut Slinger Transformation Scroll
- Gallant Conch Blader Transformation Scroll

Quest & Knowledge
Simplified Main Questline Acceptance Condition Change
New Adventurers will no longer be able to select the simplified questline as their first main questline. While choosing the simplified questline first offered some convenience, it could also leave new Adventurers without important information and experience needed for their journey, making later progression more difficult.
To provide a better experience for new Adventurers, first-time main quest progression will now follow the standard questline instead of the simplified questline.
- Changed "[Special Growth] Birth of a Prestigious Family" to require completion of "[Pet] Bareeds' Junaid" before it can be accepted.
- [Pet] Bareeds' Junaid can be accepted after meeting the following requirements:
- [Mediah] Apocalyptic Prophecy is in progress or complete.
- [Co-op] Awakened Black Spirit is complete.
- [Koo Mihyun] Revenge Unfulfilled is complete.
