Evasion is already caped to 90%
Wishes Shai had evasion passives, we got like one active and its a short timer and small buff so we can't use it for anything outside of pve. Dats k tho cuz we got a dance and we're gonna be sharing our instruments soon, prob our dances too but its okay cuz its okay.

yes, that sounds very balanced and " shortening gaps", you still have 10% to get hit lmao, rolls on every hit, gl winning 10% rolls. While on DP you have even less than 10% chance to survive after getting CCed (you don't you just die in 1 CC because who know how DP works)
new suggestion : lower the Evasion cap, the 90% is too high people are litterally immune to everything even if you hit them with evasion debuffs you still get all Misses on screen, otherwise bring back the 100% accuracy on skills that would be helpfull

Well that depens on class and build, if u build accuracy then u can counter it.
Ofc if the devs would have experience and knowledge in the own job, then evasion would have diminishing returns like how it works in higher quality games, so evasion would not scale exponentially, but that's unlikely to happen here.
Achtually DR also sales exponentially, you just need a lot of it to see it. Meawhile both AP and accuracy gets weaker and weaker the more you have it.
(Also note here that if PA would buff DR just as those clueless wannables want to, then we would see the same AIDS with the DR stackers as we can see with the eva memers.)
Also a normal eva build player VS a another properly built player do not hit 90% eva rate. Only full DP meme builds can hit such high eva where the cap even matters, or if the defender significantly outgear the attacker.
Yeah there are classes whitch have too strong eva self buffs and those classes are better with eva, but that is a class balance issue, puting a cap on it is not a proper solution, that is a bandaid. Nerfing the said class would be the correct solution.

Bla bla bla, GM on other thread said that DP is trash because they want short gap between players and here you are defending Evasion that create enormous gap between same players.

They removed 100% accuracy skills because its was exposing not working DP, because you can make a video how evasion stacker tank whole army and PA will say "look there is no 1 shots in game".
The foundamental issue is that evasion gear scales better than dr counterpart, when you can stack evasion to 1300 but you can only stack dr up to 800 (that's with whale and being on a shield class), on top of evasion buffs are percentage based where as dr buffs are point based.
pure defense accessories should not give any sort of accuracy such as centaurus, cadry, etc. And hybrid accessories such as sicil, arc, orkinrad, etc should not give the same amount as pure ap, just like how accessory accessories give less ap and offin give less accuracy.

That don't matter, since evasion % doesn't increase your evasion rating by the % but the chance to dodge the attack. They could change each 1% of evasion buffs to give 5 evasion rating instead and it would be the same.

That is true that the stats on items are basically random without any kind of logic, but there is no real chance that PA ever fix it, they don't even understand how they should work btw.

Yeah that's how it should be, but there is not much tradeoff currently. One solution would be moving some of the AP from the lower brackets to higher ones, so getting defensive offparts would actually impact the damage.

In addition there is only so much evasion you can purchase and the ethereal earrings at pen only give 3 more evasion at the cost of 65 billion so evasion is actually limited too much.
As I've said numerous times ALL evasion passives should be removed as it gives way too much room to stack ap.
Without passives, evasion build is hard, and you need a second build for pve. So not cheap like all say
Evasion accessories need to be buffed, evasion classes need to be nerfed, look at Lunar neck best tradeoff in game 4 ap for 28 accuracy, what does evasion get? 3 evasion per ap if you're lucky
