Yeah it's also a perfect solution who join with alts/friends and feeds a single player for points :)
There is so much reasons why they can't give real reward for doing PVP in gear based grinder. But main reason is that they cannot monetize it, Shadow Arena was perfect example, no money no honey.
this is just not true, there are many possibilities of monetizing pvp content. - introduce a "pvp value pack" that players need to buy with pearls in order to have greater silver rewards from different pvp contents, give players the option to pay lootscrolls in order to gain greater silver (or maybe actual loot?) from various pvp modes, introduce "pvp experience" that lets you level up a progression pass with a free path and a paid one with more and better rewards, the list goes on and on and on. there is literally a wide array of possibilities when it comes to monetizing it. this is not an issue at all.
I think it would be hard to make it "save". I had so many cheaters in RBF over the time. Unkillable, flying etc...
Also, you cant give rewards by points earned or all the DP Players would just get nothing all the time while still having an impact. Would find it more rewarding to have more stats shown like in AoS (heals, Assists, Ccs etc) and go off there for rewards? But tbh getting like 50m for 20/15 min RBF would not be imbalanced at all.
But I would love at least to see rewards added like Perfums (of all kind not the damn box that never gives perfume of charm), random elixir box, maybe a weekly to get like 1 pitty piece of every infinity potion etc...

I play a lot of rbf, and while there are engine abusers, there are hardly any player who is cheater since without gear they would be useless and getting perma banned on rbf ready (700+ gs) gear would hurt.

no I mean literal cheaters. I don't go rbf as much as like a year ago.....but like 2 months ago there were 2 accounts with succ zerkers in there that clearly did cheat. They did port all over the place, oneshot everything, couldn't even be touched etc....Had that happen shortly after the "papu and otter rbf" from the summer event....and that rbf had a ton of cheaters in it.

Been suggested so many times over the years and I'd love it. The main reason it's not done is because it will bring tons of AFKers into pvp scenarios and also allows for abuse or silver-selling.
I think the best option for this would be arena of solare, where silver gain is tied to winning in ranked matches. It's nearly impossible to win with afkers and you can't group in ranked.
Kick all afk for one minute or two. Also block them from entering the battle ground for 30min first time one hour second 24 hour third last time one week. Tho allow this to reset every month because sometimes people go afk two min once a month that's fine just kick em out the match.
now as for silver 100m for loser side 250m winners or if not silver give loot boxes that has good loot three boxes for winner one for loser. The argument for afk players is bad you can kick them out the match and bar them from playing. It will make people not do it as much. Also give that energy reward outside of pvp most who want it prob life skillers why have that in pvp? Make it a daily quest you can do in town to avoid those life skill afk. Pa knows what it's doing if they don't want pvp to be worth while they will continue to shit on it. Pvp lacks meaningful progression which makes no sence when it was released as this big open world pvp game they forgot about its roots.
I agree, RBF rewards should be a little better.
Every active activity you do in the game should provide some measure of progress. The game has such a strong theme of progress, and players are so driven to progress. Players constantly ask "what is best silver per hour? What is most efficient?" So it is weird when some activities, that are only possible if a healthy popualtion of players does them, are not incentivized in any way.
If you do RBF, you are not grinding or lifeskilling. You are not even AFK-horse-training.
I support any way to make better income while doing red battlefield. Even if it somehow requires an active value pack or using your agris or loot scrolls or something bizarre like that, I don't really know why it would but just saying I'd be fine with a caveat like that if it means RBF earns meaningful value towards progress.

There is already a system in RBF that kicks afk players, you see how well it works....
with 100m/250m you could earn an avarage of 525m - 1050m/h by afking, botting or just suicide runing into the enemy. Seems good idea :kappa.
