Heya, Summer here

I've created a handy list of useful cooking nodes.

This includes a cheat sheet as well as a YouTube video that adds some more tips and tricks.

The list is aimed at novice cooks, but I hope even veteran cooks will find some useful information.

The problem: So many nodes, so little Contribution Points

Choosing worker nodes is pretty difficult because there are so many nodes in the game.

I see many new cooks wanting to pick up nodes to supply cooking materials.

Though it's often hard to tell which materials are going to be needed in cooking.

There are many recipes out there and many different materials, so which nodes should you pick up?

My solution: A cheat sheet for cooking nodes

I've compiled a list of useful cooking nodes. By picking up these nodes, your workers will accumulate materials for cooking many recipes, including worker food, pet food, meals for imperial boxes and EXP.

These nodes will both help you get started with cooking as well as supplying materials for more advanced recipes.

Not all nodes are equally useful.

I assigned a Priority to each node to help you decide on which ones to pick up.

High: High income nodes - take whether you plan on cooking the materials or not.

Medium: Medium income nodes - take if you need the materials for cooking.

Low: Low-income nodes - take only if you want to be self-sufficient.

The idea here is that high income nodes tend to provide materials that have high demand in cooking. And if at some point you decide that you aren't going to need the materials you can sell them for a decent chunk of money.

Keep in mind that the priority can change individually based on which node connections you already have. So feel free to take the priority as a rough guideline and design your own empire. Also, keep in mind that a great node network includes not only cooking nodes but also nodes to supply for example trading, bartering or alchemy materials or simply profitable nodes for selling to the market.

Feedback is welcome!

The cheat sheet is now in the second iteration as I've incorporated feedback from my Youtube comments.

If you have more suggestions, drop them in here, and I'll see how I can incorporate them into the sheet.

And if you have any questions, please leave them here, and I'll get back to you.

I'm a master .... that said, I find this sheet very informative.. I like best the rating of each node. I'm planning on re-doing my nodes. I knew it was necessary, but had no idea how. Thank you for the data. I love it. Lizy

Thank you so much for all your guides and hard work, Summer. I am a bit of an inbetween Novice / Veteran cook, returning player and re-learning/sorting out my nodes. This is very valuable information and I will make use of this! Thank you again.

Thank you so much for this guide, and your others ;) What I am wondering, is, is there a printable version of this one and your others? PDF would be great. :D

@MsSilverKnife

Hi, my charts are png images. You can download the image and then either print it directly or convert to PDF (using tools like smallpdf) and then print it.

I was also wondering if you will be doing something similar for Alchemy? I have searched and not found anything :(
