Why do you not push the updates to steam on a timely manner? Some weeks we don't get the update for hours past server has been live. Looks like today will be another one of those. I know how Steam works with updates they are the middle man they are not holding back the updates. You are not sending them.

That doesn't solve the problem of steam seeing the proper game files and then later you will have to validate the files once they put the update through steam. It shouldn't be this way I am tired of the way they update steam files. The build ID does not change in steam until the files are updated in steam. So according to steam you have not downloaded the update att all and I have had issues with the game because of this problem.

I'm on steam and i've never had an issue.  Exit out of steam completely then launch BDO before maintenance is over.  The files are ready to download usually like an hour before maintenance ends.  If you're having an issue, I'm guessing it's because you're not exiting out of Steam first.

Do you never shut your computer down? I have never felt the need to leave my pc on 24/7. So when I get up and turn my PC on maintenance is 2 and half hours in. Example, PA has not sent the update to steam it still says content updated Oct 31, 2025. If you update through the launcher steam still thinks the build is from the previous update and invalidates files you updated through the launcher. So when they finally push the correct build to steam it has to redownload after validation. It's unnecessary
