Archeologist's Map is not working correctly while out at sea.

What is normal: I've had the Archeologist's Map for probably over a year now. I personallt use it while I'm fishing out in the Valenica Sea. After a few hours of fishing, I click on the map and teleport to Arehaza. I then use a regular map to teleport to Valencia City and well-teleport to LoML to sell my fish. I've done this over a hundred times.
What is abnormal/bug: When using the Archeologist's Map, I'm not teleporting to Arehaza... or any town nearby. I'm just teleporting INSIDE my boat and in a constant jump cycle. I can't even click "BOARD" to get on my boat. I have to use the menu Escape and that sends me to the nearby island, Hakoven. I then have wasted my map use and have to then use a regular map from the island... doing that sends me to Ancado Inner Harbor. This has been happening for the last couple weeks.

Well, whatever was causing the issue has stopped. Maybe the update fixed the problem?
