I fish around Hakoven Island and use the Archeologist's map to teleport to Anacado Inner Harbor and go to the well from there.

A few months ago I could do this with 100% success rate. Lately, the map teleport seems to "fail" and it just teleports me in place, and my character can't move. The recall function is on and it teleports me in place as well and allows me to move again. I've been able to circumvent this bug by using a regular blue traveler's map. The blue map would teleport me to my desired destination and I could use the recall to teleport back as I wanted. Today, this method too seems to fail; the traveler's map also teleports me in place.
I have tried to use both maps 2 times today, so 4 separate attempts and they all failed.
My fish are rotting in my inventory because a treasure item that I had to grind for over 150 hours to obtain isn't working properly...

This happened to me - it fixed itself for a day, but now it's back to not teleporting me to where I usually go with me map.

jump off the boat before trying to map. been a bug since forever. you can get lucky, but when you don't, you're stuck.

Yesterday I had this bug too, today I used map after jumping ship and it worked just fine. 

Bit weird that it can bug on ships though. I was on an Epheria Cog (cuz harpooning lol)
