[GM] Daisy is here to guide you through what is changing with Black Desert with the upcoming transfer!

On February 25th, 2021, 11:00 22:00 (UTC) Pearl Abyss will begin self-publishing Black Desert Online.

To help adventurers along with this process, we will be introducing a new series: “Black Desert: How Will It Change?”

Starting today, this series will feature a new post each Wednesday explaining some of the differences that the Pearl Abyss transfer will bring.

To begin, let's take a look at the new Black Desert official website and launcher.

It may look different than what you're used to, but do not fear!

Continue your Black Desert adventure with Pearl Abyss on Thursday, February 25, 2021! 

■ Are you an existing Adventurer?

If you have previously played Black Desert, you can continue your journey through the Black Desert client without any additional downloads or purchases from February 25th onward. Simple as that!

■ Are you a new Adventurer?

1. Login to the Black Desert official website.

2. After logging in, purchase a game package through the Purchase Package button or by going to the Shop.

3. Download the client from the Downloads page.

4. When you run the downloaded file, the Black Desert launcher will open. Once you login, the launcher will update.

5. Press the Game Start button once the update is complete and you’re done! We hope you enjoy your time in Black Desert!

With the revamped website and brand-new launcher, Black Desert takes its first steps while published by Pearl Abyss.

These changes are the first of many that we hope will revitalize your experience of playing Black Desert.

Thank you for your patience as we work to provide this unique, new experience for you!

In addition, we will be exploring new ways for our Adventurers to enjoy Black Desert through various other platforms that can expand upon and improve the experience.

We aim to provide a stable Black Desert experience for all Adventurers, no matter where they are located.

We humbly ask for your support and encouragement as we embark on this grand journey together under Pearl Abyss self-publishing!
