While the other infinite potion grind spots have been improved, Navarn remains a nightmare. In all other spots we can optimize our build and kill many mobs at once. With decent item drop buffs and clear speed we can get a few pity pieces per hour, and it feels like we're making progress. Not to mention most spots are decent money and have rare drops too. Overall, it's a fun experience.

Navarn Steppe on the other hand has several issues and is the opposite of fun. I haven't seen anyway actually enjoy this content. Some of the reasons include:

- Most players grinding the MP potion are into combat or more often than not pvp, so it makes little sense to force life content on them. Even so, it should be more rewarding and less daunting than it currently is.

- In Navarn Steppe we are practically losing money. Unlike all other spots where we can just use our normal gear and make silver from trash, for Navarn we need to buy expensive life skill gear and buffs to raise our mastery and drop rates. Some people can use their life-skiller, but we can't be expected to have one (as previously said, most people doing this content are not life-skillers). We lose a lot of money when selling the gear back. If we choose to use Magic knives we are still losing money because the trash in this place is worth nothing, and this is a complete waste of time.

- This is because progress towards the Valtarra piece is extremely slow to non-existent, pity pieces drop once every several hours (even people with high mastery are repoting similar experiences, so what is even the point of investing into mastery). We can opt for the weekly pity quest, but it will take several months to do it just from pity (with other pieces, we can get them  in a week or so from pity; this is not possible here).

- The main limiting factors for this are tanning speed and the gathering drop rate buffs. Unlike killing mobs, there is a hard cap to tanning speed, and we can only tan one mob at a time.

- Also, there are very few gathering drop rate buffs (very expensive too, unlike the item increase scrolls that are handed out like candy). As such, we spend many hours tanning creatures, one at a time, for an abysmally low drop rate, and gain practically nothing.

- Not to mention, even the daily quests are locked behind deleting all your Navarn ecology knowledge, which all other side quests in the area had you gather, on top of sending you to Calpheon! Is this a joke? No way I'm doing the dailies.

Solutions: The drop rate needs to be substantially higher, to make up for the lack of buffs, silver, and clear speed. The silver per hour also needs to be reworked so it's not a complete waste of our time. TYIA

Try gathering there on a seasonal character. I got more pieces in an hour there on my seasonal (after I didn't need them anymore) than I did with the characters I was doing weeklies on.

Edit: Seasonal character on season server for the extra drops.
