Hey there folks!
There’s a new resource for the community that I want to present to you. I’ve been playing this game since beta, and while we have guides or tutorials for pretty much everything. I noticed we have a severe gap in knowledge on what’s needed to run a guild, which kind of stagnates the overall guilds community. There’s information on what guilds are, and how to run them mechanically, but as any GM knows. Guilds require structure and administration, which a lot of guilds lack and struggle to figure out. It’s not as simple as it seems and the community really hasn’t come together yet to help other guilds grow all that much. I want to change that, so I wrote a kind of outline to guide GMs in learning how to better structure their guild and understand the importance and the how-to of good administration within a guild community. There are also a few resources added to help others along who may not think to use them. It’s not a be-all-end-all guide, but I hope it can help some guilds out there, new or old. I’m also planning to keep it updated/revised with other helpful tips or resources if other successful GMs have input and want to work with me on it. I hope this helps and inspires more guilds to connect, learn, and grow.
