Question: Fishing 5 Legendary Artifact fish, NA completed did that guy ever get the statue in game or the items he got to choose?

I know the guy in NA completed fishing up all the Legendary Artifact Fish and summoned the world boss. Did he ever receive the rewards? Like he got to choose title "god of Fishing" and or other choices?
Wasn't one of the rewards a statue being built in Velia with his name on it? Did that ever happen?

Yes. Vell got its additional summon quite a while ago, and the statue of the player is at velia beach, at the rock right next to the hotspot

:O That's really cool! I didn't know it was already in-game. Need to take a look next time.
Now we need legendary gathering stuff so we can try and compete for a wooden statue ;)

Went looking for a statue, but found a living diorama of sorts with several NPCs. Can get a buff from the God of Fishing: +1 fishing and luck, 8 hours, for 20 energy. And to think I've been passing them by all this time wondering why anyone would fish there. I need to get more curious in-game again.
Location: not quite "right next to" the hotspot, but still in Velia beach where it transitions from Velia. Of course "right next to" depends on what you're comparing to :) That particular hotspot is finicky about exactly where you fish.
