honestly imo its prob cuz blackstar is pve gear while boss gear is pve and pvp gear... u know.. the whole  "ItS mAh PvP gAmE" BS arguement

like me for example i dont pvp  and have 0 intrest to pvp  its a waste of time for whats essentially a crotch size measuring contest.. in my opinion anyways..  i lifeskill and occasionally pve  so blackstar is exactly perfect for my goals and aims.. and cuz i dont need end game grinding  i only required tri blackstar to do everything i want pve related wise

Why are green offhands better than boss offhands right now? They don't pay that close of attention to itemization. 

Blackstar is basically worthless, the armors that is. It barely adds much, more of a pain to tap. I'll always tell people not to get that crap armor.

Basically, some green gear tended to focus on a certain stat heavily (reason why people used a green helmet for evasion over griffon helmet for the longest time b4 FG helmet), and in some cases, had really good bonuses, but the trade-off was fewer/lack off the same number of crystal slots as boss gear and above. With the crystal rework, they broke it (as it tends to happen nowadays) and now, you can have said green weapons that give the same crystal slots as boss gear (one of the offhands gives basically same as Nouver, much cheaper to caphras to max and comes with a massive bonus stat of +10% special attack damage).

A.K.A - Just PA things.

I'm hoping they have a correction for fixing this oversight. PA for some odd reason decides to continuously create their own problems and stress out their playerbase that looks for continuous gear or character progression.

Knee jerk decisions like they have done with crystal presets has diminished the time and "V" Blackstar off-hand's worth.

They need to do something because we right back to end game cookie cutter builds as BIS ( At least on NA).

Blackstar armor was and is a intermediary armor set that was put in the game while they figured out their own Caphras system and FG sets. I mean look at FG and Blacstar set, they look exactly the same with the exception of Blackstar's middle gem not glowing at "V" while Fallen god's middle gem does glow at "V".
