Obsidian specter's energy allowed you to squeeze out a bit of extra dp from TET Blackstar armors. Now Blackstar armors are more irrelevant than akum. PEN Blackstar armors are simply not a viable path to Fallen God Tier armors and getting them to PEN also removes the use of Obsidian Specter's Energy.


I have 2 Obsidian Specter's Energy sitting in my Velia Storage for years now. They cost billions to make and many hours to grind and there is absolutely no more practical use for them. PEN armors are so available and it is way easier and viable to caphras those up to the equivalent DP of a Reformed TET Blackstar (a dead end item).

Please, allow us to sell the obsidian specter's energy for a fraction of their cost or let us put it in fallen god or blackstar weps.

These are all ramifications of a ridiculous enchant system with a 3% chance of success and item degradation when an enchant fails.

If there was no degradation and the chance of success reasonably increased with each fail, bs armor would make sense and be a good alternative to boss gear + caphrases.

It was a noobtrap item since day1, and it was never secreet. It's kinda your own fault for still wasting money on it.

As for the devs, it was told to them back years ago (on the old forum) when they added those items that it's stupid, you can see how much did they care.

Obviously we could talk about the proper solution: a.k.a completely deleting these pointless items as whole, and after that they can be compensated by some of their crafting materials for sure.... but will they listen this time I wonder....

The only reason this armor exists is because at the time (3 years ago), the caphras were out of stock for months in Korea.
And instead of increasing the loot rate of caphras or adding spots for them, they had this stupid idea of adding a whole set of armors and lots of crafting / enchanting resources just to try to solve caphras stock problem in korea...
1 year later they realized it was a shitty idea and abandoned it and we ended up seeing lots of spots for looting caphras and their number has increased a lot

You have a easy pen guaranteed via jetina and you continue to waste your time with this trashy armor which only exists to try to solve a problem of stock of caphras in the market place..

Don't care about what you gambled away as it's completely irrelevant to the topic. Currently you can't even vendor obsidian spector energy. At the very least you should be able to vendor the item and at least get something from it just like most other items in game.

Bs armor and obsidian bs armor appeared in the game before pen jetina, and no one thought that such a system would appear in the game.

These guaranteed pens, although much needed, at the same time completely disturbed the economy of the game, and obsidian bs armor is the best example here. Players with jetina guaranteed boss pen easily upgraded to cr10 and exchanged for fallen god, but players with obsidian bs armor tet still have obsidian bs armor tet with no chance of pen and fallen god. So these players have a right to be angry because maybe tomorrow we will get the 3rd part of the fallen god set and they will still be standing with the 4 part obsidian bs tet.

I also considered buying (because an individual enchant makes no sense) bs tet set and then enchanting to obsidian, but at the same time I realized that getting obsidian bs pen is impossible. And that's why I think that since we got a guaranteed pen system from jetina, owners of bs tet should be able to exchange them for boss gear pen, and obsidian bs tet for boss gear pen cr5.
