Hello Everyone


So everyone already has seen, read and tested the changes that were installed on the servers on July on 25th.
Everyone approaches such changes in their own way. I won't go in the changes with special evasion or changes to other classes because I'm not qualified to judge them.
I want to speak only about zerker. I've been playing on it for a very long time and i can say with confidence that i know what I'm talking about.


So what about zerker. Let's start with succsession. There are a huge number of players who wanted succ zerker to be nerfed. And I, playing on zerker since OBT, actually agree with them. Succ zerker has endless movement and endless stamina. And Pearl Abyss decided to do a very original(actually not) way - remove stamina recovey from several skills. What is the result? Nothing changed, because succ zerker never spend his stamina on that skills. I guess Pear Abyss weren't count on such effect, right?


Now about awakening zerker and stamina. Obviously the lack of stamina recovery from skills  from main skill tree also affected awakening. Pearl Abyss also removed the way to recover staming in key skill for awake zerker - giant leap. And this is where the nerf had its most terrible effect. Let me explain the concept of this stance for those who are not awake of it: awake zerker spends a huge amount of stamina during his movement and then restores it with main movement skills like lava piercer ot giant leap. This stance is about movement and mobility. So what we have now, recovery on key movement skills has been removed and for example the same giant leap wastes stamina. A big question is what next? How can a player who has chosen awake zerker continue to play normally in PVP? It is no longer possible to keep good movement during node war or AOS. For awakening zerker when you stop - you dead.

Now about removing HP recovery on a number of skills. For some reason some classes can normally restore their HP through certain skills, but Pear Abyss decided to remove this for zerker. Yes of course succ zerker can legally heal due to his passive.


But awakening zerker has nothing actually. Yes sure an observant person will say that zerker has heap on his E-buff and Scutter Shot.



I'll answer to you: it is just a joke. 200 HP recovery every 5 seconds during a node war with a total HP pool of 10r+ is ridiculous. 171 HP per hit with scatter shot? Even in AOS this looks like a fat slap to everyone who plays awakening zerker.

Giant Leap. This skill is so cool that Pear Abyss dicided to make animation cut off to it only forward version. For me it is very stupid, sorry. Fortunately they came to their sense and fix in the next global lab partch and return the ability to use jump back.


Lets dive deeper into this skill. As you can see the skill costs 200 stamina, stamina is not recovering while using the skill. But that's not at all. Since the introductuin of awakening in the game this skill has not chaged in any way. That is, it's time to make skill like a human being, as in the description. At the beginning of using and at the end - super armor. All time of the flight - invincible. How it works in reality now is that invincible effect works only at the very top point for the jump. The rest of rime the character is defenseless. Damage flies into there, invincible doest not work during vacuum skills, easy to grab. It is time to change it!

UPD: Giant Leap 100% of black spirit rage. The animation for using the skill has been changed to make it faster. Now it is very often when you cant control using direction with click to move. It is necessary to return slow animation to have better conrtrol on it during casting.

Shooting mobility. For some reason Pearl Abyss removed accuracy buff from them and reduced the cooldowb and lowered the stamina consumption. What is the reason? This skill has low damage and NO PROTECTION.



Absolute: Whath of the Beast

Can someone explain an idea of it? Who, when and why should use this skill now which doest not have a min heal? For only SA? THis skill has very long animation, very long cooldown and bad damage. I am not even talking about the useless speed debuff...

Absolute: Beast Roar and Wailing Beast

This is my favorite. This skill is more than completely useless. Can be used by succ zerkers to move to the beast form. Nothing else actually. 20 damage from bleeding with 8-10-13k  character HP, is this a joke? I suppose yes. And the second skill without damage, removed heal, 10 bleed damage. Another joke skill with SA.

Flame Pummel


For some reason Pearl Abyss changed this skill and added forward block. But only for 1-2-3 attack and not for the last( which is the most important) attack. Stupid skill with low anitmation.

I've gone through some some issues made by last patch, but these issues keep up year after year. And now also added confusion of sense of class. What now an idea of awake zerker to be in this game? Succ zerker has improved defense with 15% of damage reduction while he is in SA skills, more buffs for defense. For some reason awake zerker has only 10% of damage reduction. Apparently Pearl Abyss think that awake zerker doesnt need to go to the fight as melee class, he probably needs to shoot from distance with CD.

I have some thougts how to improve quality of gameplay on awake zerker.

Giant Leap
-
return back stamina recovery

-remove the difference of flight range on attack speed. When the attack spped is slowed due to debuffs the flight range is greatly reduced

-invincible effect should be activated immidiately after casting when already in the air.

-return slow animation for 100 BSR for better control

Flow: Ancient Wave
-add frontal block for the whole time of using of this skill, not only for start

Frenzied Destroer

-add SA or frontal block to this skill with cooldown

Titan Blow
-remove CC from it and change for frontal block. Add CC to the Core skill instead.

Devastation

-improve animation speed and make a little bit faster

Flame Pummel
-improve animation and make a littke bit faster. Add frontal block to all parts of this skill

Shooting Mobility
-add SA to this skill

Ground Lifting
-improve connection with shake off to remove use ground lifting at place after shake off insted of lava piercer.

So that were my thougts regarding Awake Zerker. Hope this info will see someone from Pear Abyss :)

And yet, awak berserker is one of the better performing classes in AoS while succ zerk is best one.

Data shows zerker is in good spot. 

Ofc AoS is not perfect representation of PvP in BDO, but considering all other modes are either already dead or close, it's best we have.

It's true...  It's not fair that we can have only 10 awakening zerker in top 100 in NA  while 9 succ zerker in top 100.  There should be more of them because they just play better than everyone else.

Awake Zerker doesn't need buffs. Class performs well; just overshadowed by how broken succ Zerker is. Not to mention the changes you're asking for are just absurd lol

I do think he was replying to OP and quoted you to support that zerk is not only fine but actually doing realy well.

The phrasing was not that clear tho.

Checked comments above. Nice to read them from people who know about zerker nothing and have only AOS rating. I suppose we are playing different games in this case.

Anyway I posted it for Pearl Abyss because i do not have any other way to send them information.
