Hey there, i'd like to suggest small improvement on the arsha channels to make them more competitive and give them a bigger reason to visit.
i have a few suggestions that will make the Arsha a way more tempting to visit and increase the overal pvp experience.
I feel the incentive to currently go to the arsha channel is too low because of multiple reasons.
1. The risk/reward you gain are too minimal for the dangers you face when grinding.
2. The 50% item drop rate is too small given the risk you are taken currently, losing your consumables over and over defending your spot will net you a massive loss.
3. Killing a player or dying gains you nothing but time loss and silver
I had something in mind and really want to share this before it leaves my thoughts on how to improve the want to go to the PvP channel
1. Add a 100% Item Drop Amount permanently to the channel
this way there will be a higher amount of people willing to swap to the pvp channel because it is alot more rewarding than the current 50% drop rate chance
creating a scenario where people will be contesting for great resources constantly while gaining greater rewards if managing to defend their grind spot
2. Create grind "hotspots" tremendously increasing rewards for a short amount of time and rotate them to every single grind spot in the game
make these hotspots spawn EVEN in the low ap spots (100-280AP example) and make them drop random rare drops ranging from dawn earrings to debo accessories to quatan lungs etc etc
(food for thought for the devs)
"creating a scenario where people will be contesting for great resources constantly"
This suggestion does not make a lot of sense, because even with the 100% drop amount buff, if your grind is interrupted by a lot of pvp, in the end you will have a lower gain than grinding 1h uninterrupted on a normal server.

this is what you sign up for when you grind on the arsha channel, thus the reward for grinding should be higher
nobody is forcing you to grind on arsha and i am not comparing it to a 1h grind session on a normal channel, if you want to go and grind without being uninterrupted you simply don't grind on the arsha channel
what i say makes enough sense

This will be the same as the current Arsha server: 90% of people are there because of bigger drop rate, not to do PVP. If the reward will be higher, PVE players will go there because its more efficient. If they encounter too much PVP and their income decreaes, they will go back to normal servers. Hardly anyone will go there to do PVP, just like how it is with current Arsha server.
You're thinking in the wrong direction, dude. To revive the channel, you need to introduce bonuses for killing PvE players. For example, special medals that can be exchanged for something useful. Loot scrolls, buffs, etc.

you can't do this because players will exploit this by just killing each other in turns..

perhaps! but saying this you are partially saying the community does not want to do pvp at all, i am only trying to provide feedback that would make pvp more active, because this will. and i'm not saying this is what has to happen, i am just suggesting things x) if you don't like the suggestion that is completely fine!
since you are in disagreement, what would you change? because it's not easy to come up with a solution
1. pvp exclusive gear is already out of the question
2. you can't have farmable materials or points because it will be insanely exploited unless it has a daily or weekly cap
3. rewards would have to be something that can only be obtained in either a party/guild or solo setting without a 3rd party person being able to contribute

I'm pretty sure majority of BDO playerbase don't do or outright hate PVP; the gear makes too much difference, and most of the "PVP" they see is some kind of "griefing": getting killed while riding, getting killed at bosses, getting killed to lose buffs (attacker not even taking their grind spot). Red players going around killing everyone just because "this is an open PVP game". And consider the viewpoint of casual PVE players, who are at 600-650 GS: they have no chance to fight back to PVP-geared players.
I think you cannot really mix PVE and PVP in this game. This will NOT make PVP more active, just like with Arsha now; it will be the very same, just the bonus is different (100% drop amount instead of 50% drop rate). PVE players will go there because of the PVE buff; PVP players go there to attack PVE players; PVE players leave because doing PVP makes grinding less efficient; PVP players leave because there are no players on the channel. 90% of players doing PVE on Arsha. This is why Arsha was a bad idea from the start.
In the past there was an event when killing a player on Arsha gave you points or something; idk really how that turned out, maybe something like that would work; maybe stealing points from each other like in RBF?
