Awakening

Problem with movement

► Awakening Witch has awful movement capabilities, now that other classes received multiple movement buffs within the year of 2024 Witch is in a troubled spot. She has no reliable movement she can cover a large distance with other than Teleport which has a 7 second cooldown for short range and 10 seconds for long distance. Both Magical Evasion and Elementalization do not cover a lot of distance, so she’s very stationary.

A possible solution is to increase distance covered with Flow: Magical Evasion and reduce cooldown to 2 seconds for more frequent protected movement.

Other

Speed Spell having a 50 second cooldown feels awkward, for more frequent Attack-, Cast- and Movementspeed uptime it would be nice to have it lowered to 30 seconds cooldown.

Succession

Spellbound Heart V

Awakening Witch and Wizard have their buffs now last an hour, it would only be fair to make Spellbound Heart V (blue orb) last an hour as well so you don’t have to press it as often, or fully integrate it into the kit as a passive.

Bolide of Destruction

Bolide of Destruction has a problem, it moves you forward when casting. Succession Witch and Wizard are ranged attackers and having abilities that move you forward can ruin your positioning.

The solution would be to remove the part in the animation that moves the character forward.

Equalise the animation speed for Wizard and Witch. They have different speeds.

Magical Shield IV

Magical Shield was designed when players had 3000-4000 HP in the game. Now people have 8000-14000 in player versus player combat. The problem here is that people deal way more damage but we never received more MP from gear so the ratio from damage taken converted into MP consumed is out of balance. You lose almost all of your MP in a very brief timeframe.

The recommended solution here is to remove part which consumes MP equal to 25% of damage taken and instead have it increase our health pool by 10-30%. (Or increase our mana pool passively)

Magic Lighthouse III

This ability is not liked by the developers it often makes pve too easy and is for this reason disabled at many spots. In PvP it has little usability because it is not protected and only applies a magic DP debuff.

Assign an AI to the ability so it follows us or moves to enemies, make it spawn where the character aims at.

Resurrection III

This ability has lost its meaning for a long time now and is not used anymore. 

Rework this and make it useful again or replace it for another movement ability since Succession Witch is lacking movement like Awakening Witch. The community voted for a movement ability.

Succession: Magical Evasion

Just like Awakening Witch, Succession Witch is also lacking movement suitable for the year of 2024. A lot of classes are very mobile nowadays, all of the Witch and Wizards feel very slow and left behind. Additionally Succession Witch and Wizard do not have a lot of protected mobility.

Solution I: Add Super Armor to Succession: Magical Evasion

Solution II: Increase distance covered with the skill by increasing distance of the current animation or add another blink within the skill to cover more distance in a larger timeframe.

Prime: Elemental Flow

The „Spell Storage“ feature used to be an outstanding trait for Succession Witch. Over the years the Witch and Wizard have become very similar except Wizard has a very useful and unique passive, while the passive for Witch is no longer unique (Succession Sage). Additionally the passive is no longer a key part of the class, it is often ignored in combat.

This would be improved by being able to store and cancel all succession abilities and release them after a Magical Evasion, Teleport and Mana Absorption.

Agreed. The mobility is awful.

Tungrad ruins for awakened witchard is 14k.

Succ or any other class is 25k. This is purely down to mobility and casting animations being far too great.

This is a consistent theme on spots that require speed and mobility. Awk witchard has very minimal of these.

Witch has long animation + predominately FG. Leaving her massively open in PvP.

Her damage does not justify the long casting animation. The damage is extremely low compared to classes that insta cast their abilities.

If she was half healthing people with her long animation casts I'ld understand.

Sorry for the winge... (witch main) had to get it off my chest :D
