I understand everyone bitched about Shai in AoS but this is just abysmal. You should of told shai that it is not welcome in AoS this season and that it should reroll to another class if it wants to experience the content. The removal of the pen sol was a direct nerf to shai that no other class received in AoS. With the decrease healing it brings nothing to the table in AoS. The buffs are the baseline buffs. The debuffs are forced to be baseline. Shai being balanced around the support it gives to its teammates mean it received a major nerf just in AoS.

It would have been more kinder to tell shais they are banned then to make them so unenjoyable in AoS people dont play it. Either rework the class from the ground up or figure it out. I love PvP and being forced out of it because of the class is not honest.

From the top lists 2 years ago. For a free win it sure seems to be not at the top. I think your incorrect perception thinks its a automatic win. The Shai class was no where near the top and yet again zerker is shaping up to be the #1 AoS class. I dont think you pvp enough in AoS to recognize this. Just because people bitched and perceived its strong following blue squadron personal uncapped tournaments people think its too strong. In uncapped tournaments it is strong because it can actually use its kit without being deleted. Evasion is dead wit hthe current system and every other dps oriented class has increase DR in their abilities. Shai does not benefit from that and has to gear around for it. It is fine since its support and brings the buffs and debuffs but to just fuck it over is unccalled for. Ban it from joining and be honest. Whats next your going to bitch about zerker and demand Grabs to be turned off in AoS? You know what is a free win? a fucken 10 secound long grab session that finishes in a CC state that can be followed up. Sure they are vulnerable while in the animation to damage but their tankiness can help them power through.

The "nerf" to the sol doesnt fix class being very strong as a debuffer/buffer (the other 3 buffs are intact), and just makes class less fun because gutted attack speed.
That being said it already wasnt great previous season because there was no DP gear so now its worse, people just dont understand the class though because it still is strong in the debuffer aspect i mentioned, and buffs of course. Any static class in fact is terrible for this season because way too much mobility over the board for most classes, and then its just too much damage. This is very noticeable when you look at Guardians, Witches, Succession Valks and Succession Novas in the ranks as of now, all classes that rely too much on static SA/FGs. So i'm not very surprised.

Class does need a full rework, but realistically, im not expecting it to ever happen.

Its just a pity bdo community overall is terrible when it comes to classes discussion.

Honestly, I recommend all Shais to run away and play another MMO. I’m not saying this with any malice, it’s just that I’ve yet to see any other game treat someone so poorly for wanting to be a support. There are always some problems with the support role in games, but Black Desert is on another level. I sometimes wonder if Shai players like to suffer because they get burned not only by the community but also by the devs. I’m not even referring to this season of Solare, which is ridiculous, but there are so many things if you look in the class’s past that it literally surprises me people still play it specially the ones that main the class.

Saying that the class is designed for pve is an odd thing to say. Outside of a few groupal spots, the class seems pretty bad in pve. It's a no brainer that the class it's designed around Node War and Siege content if you take a closer look at it. I even dare to say that those lifeskill pasive buffs she has were put in there to compensate her pve in a weird way (this last part is just an asumption of mine).

Shai makes it possible use BSR every round. And also free 30 ap and attack speed. This does not include debuffs. Is this not enough for you? What else do you want? Zerk or striker 2.0, but with party buff?

The fact that you're insinuating that Shai is in a fair state in the current Solare is, well...  The class is the worst in damage, mobility, protections, and defense. (I've seen some shais in solare her way of suviving is literally looking for a rock and going in circles around it xDD) Her entire kit only works if she can tank—just look at her skills.

If you think Archer has it tough in Solare, the current Shai has far less survivability than Archer, which says a lot. She doesn’t have the ability to kill the enemy before they kill her like Archer does. Ah, but she can buff, right? have you seen the sheer number of handicaps the class has just for those buffs.

I only know the class superficially but it doesn't take much more than a little observation and common sense to see the issues.

I'm not saying that archer is good in solare, but I think leaving a support class made for groupal content being the worst at groupal content (solare) is like ... that's why I said in a previous message that all the shais should go play another mmo.

And the fact that you're even remotely comparing Shai to Zerker and Striker is hilarious, btw.
