It has been a few days since the changes rolled out and, despite my overall negativity, the changes on PvE are noticeable and positive. However, the changes done to stamina consumption are absurd and made the class clumsy and awkward to play with. It hurts our survivability even further and makes us a useless class in most PvP scenarios, which is gutting knowing the game is approaching a PvP resurgence with Demonland in development.
Our mobility is heavily hindered by many of the Stamina changes and the CC reduction narrows down our performance even further. Some of these changes are positive on PvP, we NEEDED a buff on preAwakening skills at the expense of Awakening performance and range, but not at the expense of the class' identity. We are a glass-cannon, and we could do OK with these changes if they didn't completely destroy our ability to skate away into protection to gather ourselves.
Revert the camera changes to Piercing Cry, revert the stamina recovery of Gaping Darkness, as well as Glissade and Uproot. Give us back our ability to skate and we'll figure out how to fight in close-range, but without that, we're just a sitting duck with no chances of bringing the fight sustainably.

Not a response, just a general observation: if "archer is too good, nerf it", the why is it the pariah class in most PvP, that no one wants to team with?

Because archer "class is a paradox". On the forum he is top 1 pvp and pve. But in the game itself, no one wants to play him. Always has been... but unfortunately we only get nerfs in the game, and on the forum we only get buffs.

We always had the pre-awak kit around but it was mostly useless in most scenarios (and regardless of the buffs, it still is). This doesn't change that to make the class work we need to balance both kits, hence why I said 'but not at the expense of the class' identity'
If PA hates ranged PvP that's something I cannot change. What I can request is that, at the very least, do not hinder our already pathetic survival chance even further and that starts by reverting the absurd stamina changes which, imo, is going to end up the main cause for people to reroll class
