Heey,
I've been trying the new magnus skill from deadeye and would like to write some feedback(this is just PVE btw)
-A lot of times your character glitches mid air, goes into an idle position and takes too long to go to the ground after the jump. Quite annoying (this happens specially on uneven ground like a ramp)
-The fact that you have to press LMB to use the skill makes it so you use it by mistake so many times, specially when you're using your main movement ability: A/D+LMB, you cannot longer hold it to gain max distance otherwise you would trigger the new skill.
-Dmg seems a bit low? Maybe it would benefit some buff.
-My first impression even before testing the ability is that deadeye already had multiple ways to go behind the enemy with W+F and A/D+LMB so kinda surprised when this ability came out tbh.
Now not everything is ranting, some pros:
-Skills flows very well on my opinion and it goes with the class thematic.
-It's hella fun to use.
-Nice filler or when you feel like doing some free style shit.
Hopefully I didn't forget anything, thanks for reading 😊.
P.S: please PA buff shift+E ability it's so useless now in PVE 😭
i don't mind the skill that much. Its a good added bonus to her moventment kit but like you said, but why is it a LMB click instead of a hot bar or keyboard switch activation. Its so bad how many times I used it by accident or it doesn't even go off at all and im just standing there. Literally has killed me so many times in pvp. It's so bad that I just locked the skill so I dont even need to think of it going off or not anymore.

Even though a blurb in the patch notes said they fixed this issue, I still run into it here and there. It doesn't have to do with elevation, it has to do with colliding with the enemy in air and you sliding off of them. Test it in town and you'll find it takes relatively large elevation changes to make deadeye revert to a falling animation (was trying to replicate this for a bug report).
The inability to no longer hold A/D+LMB was really annoying for me, but it came down to unlearning muscle memory. You don't need to hold down the inputs to gain the full length of the run, just long enough to get that extra distance. They really should have bound From Canary with Love to a different, unused command, like W+E.
