Kamasylvia Monster Zones

Dernière modification : 24 avr. 2024, 16:30 (UTC)

Once you reach Lv. 58, the Black Spirit will offer you to start the main questline of Kamasylvia, the land Goddess Sylvia, her children the elves, and the nature spirits.
In the forests of Kamasylvia, presided over by the Kamasylve tree and the Ganelle capital of Grána, you will find several monster zones featuring the local inhabitants of the land. Many of them have been disturbed by either a meteorite that fell to the north a few years ago or by the ongoing conflict with the Ahib faction of Vedir elves in O’dyllita to the east, and as a result, have become hostile to all that approach. This gives Adventurers the opportunity to obtain valuable items from them, such as powerful equipment and the much sought-after pieces of the spirit essence treasures.

Fadus Habitat

The tooth fairies and the forest ronaros used to both live in this forest, but it was seized by the fadus a few years ago, and ever since they’ve only gotten stronger.
The faduses were longtime allies and friends of the Ganelle and the spirits of the forest. However, it seems that they’ve gradually lost their senses to the white ash blowing from the Ash Forest to the north, and now they’re in conflict with all that approach, stranger and ally alike.

1) Precautions
Here, you can find both the melee and ranged monsters. The best way to get rid of them is to corner the melee monsters to where the ranged monsters are.
The different tents and barriers scattered around might make your progress difficult, so it is always a good idea to destroy them as soon as you start fighting a group of monsters.
The Fadus Warrior Chief can attack you both at melee and at a range, and boasts several skills that it is better if you dodge.

2) Key Locations and Route
The density of monsters throughout the entire zone is high, so any of the locations is good.

Polly’s Forest

All sorts of mushrooms grow in this damp and dark forest. The mushrooms here receive energy from nature to make dangerous poisons to protect themselves.
It used to be the home of the spirit Polly until a terrible event occurred. The spirit was deemed the culprit and sentenced to death. Ever since, the mushroom spirits Looney and Weenie have taken care of the forest.

Gyfin Rhasia Temple

The Gyfin Rhasia Temple is proof of a third civilization in Kamasylvia. You will find the temple if you follow the coast of southern Kamasylvia and venture further out into the large territory beyond. The temple is not only above ground, but also has a vast underground structure. • Melee: Gyfin Rhasia Guard, Gyfin Rhasia Crusher, Gyfin Rhasia Decimator,
• Ranged: Gyfin Rhasia Flamen
• Others: Gyfin Rhasia Statue of Earth, Gyfin Rhasia Tower of Transfusion, Gyfin Rhasia Tower of Carnage

2) Features
The Gyfin Rhasia is divided into two monster zones: Gyfin Rhasia Temple (Upper) and Gyfin Rhasia Temple (Underground).

The upper part, above ground, is designed as a group zone, where Adventurers are more efficient if they’re in a full party of 5 members. It offers a good challenge, but nothing too extreme, and the monsters give a good amount of combat and skill experience, as well as the possibility of obtaining a Tungrad Belt.

The underground part is harder, on par with Ash Forest, and offers a more challenging experience. There are fewer monsters, but you will find their strength has been increased due to the bottled-up emotions of their forgotten past. The rewards for defeating these empowered Gyfin Rhasia are the possibility of obtaining not only a Tungrad Belt but also a Tungrad Necklace, as well as the magic crystal ingredient Elkarr.

Burdens of Ruin

The underground portion of the temple has a unique mechanic called the burdens of ruin of the Gyfin Rhasia. Defeating those with a burden will give you a buff that offers an advantage against monsters possessing a different burden.
The more petrified ancient weapons, each burdened with an emotion shown in the color they exude, found near the Gyfin Rhasia Tower of Transfusion that are defeated, the more burdens the Gyfin Rhasia Tower of Transfusion absorbs from the defeated petrified ancient weapons. The [Ruinous] Butcher of Gyfin Rhasia has a low probability of spawning amongst the mixed "burdens."

The ancient weapons of [Anger], [Denial], and [Resolve] will deactivate when the [Ruinous] Butcher of Gyfin Rhasia spawns.
The Lost Civilization's Ruin buff will flow through your body when you defeat [Ruinous] Butcher of Gyfin Rhasia. Adventurers with the "Lost Civilization's Ruin" buff will boast a tremendous amount of extra damage to all monsters in the Gyfin Rhasia Temple underground.

2. Level/Equipment Requirements

Ash Forest

A few years ago a meteorite fell on Mount Kabua to the north, and soon after white ash fell on the northern half of Kamasylvia. It killed the spirits and turned the faduses mad. While the faduses to the south weren’t as affected, everything died in the place formerly known as the forest of dreams. Now ghosts, specters of the nature spirits that called the forest their home roam the land.
