What is the current point of this class specialization? is it reduced to "comfortable pve" class? id like to know so i can quit the game finally coz devs reactions and tweakings of classes speed is atrocious and frankly im kinda tired of waiting for them to actually do things right this time. if i have to be honest im not even beleiving they can do "ok" thing, let alone right thing.

1v1 pvp is upside battle but ok, lets say its intended role is large scale specialist as they said so its "fine" (it really isnt, there are classes with superb perfromance in all pvp aspects and pve on top).

^this would be ok if it was actual large scale specialist. it isnt. its extremely unfun and slow to play and its very often backpeddaling "fight to survive and spray damage hoping to get some damage in on super mobile classses zooming all around". 

having slow unprotected heal, speedspell and protected area doesnt make you large scale specialist on its own. succession has that also and they are WAY WAY better in group fights or all scales.

melee class (coz thats what basically awa wizard is) that cant move even remotely as other melee classes and let alone other ranged classes should be at least incredibly durable? deal HUGE damage? it really doesnt do anything of the sort, assuming enemies have equal gear as you. you are not tanky, you are obvious target that cant mitigate damage and cant move away from big hitters and huge aoes that every class got in reboots.

people argue we are melee or mid range fighters.
lets discuss that: we dont have proper kit for that.

hellfire moves you (unreliably - fg mobility(u get ccd through it very often, theres a reason why valks cried about their fg movement forever and got fg+sa on their stuff), plus suffers from hit stutter shortened movement) forward short distance6 sec cd - might be reliable to use if at least bsr version adds SA protection. or basic even.

water barrage - also moves you forward short distance. sometimes a gamble it it moves you or not, depending on who manages to get in your target cursor or some other unexplained reason. also, you kinda wanna save it for burst damage. 17 seconds cd - should be lower cd.

flow: magical evasion (awk version) - SA mobility and has all problems that type of mobility brings (hit stutter) plus it has coodown, obviously. 4 sec cd. maybe should have more charges.

elementalization - SA mobility, with big windup, unprotected end, doesnt move you under fire(super fun with unprotected ending), can be grabed from super easy due to game coding. death wish gamble skill as it is now. 15 sec cd. should be iframe without gap, at least.

teleport - reliable way to "move" and avoid grabs AND big damage AND reposition AND.... well... its 1 skill on 7 sec cd that u need ALWAYS basically. should be at least 6 sec cd for awaken spec. ultimate teleport should be always avaulable after tp also for awaken spec.

in order to actually be midrange or melee character u need way more movement and protected movement at that and it has to RELIABLY move you around. this kit fails at it. u often literally RUN into combat enaging them with W run until last moment because u need teleport to survive after using few spells and other forms of movement often get stuck/shortened before reaching goal. its literally crazy.


damage - damage is "good" only vs specific classes ( due to wizard class mods, u actually just barely scratch some classes)(<click for mods table) and that is IF you manage to hit them with that damage. lets get something clear. this class isnt really meant to combo you at group fights. it also cant move to reposition well to chase special mods etc. that means it should, no hard feelings, deal stupendous damage to anything it actually hits. it isnt the case and many classes actually have WAY higher burst damage due to their speed/positioning etc.
FIX/ADJUST CLASS TO CLASS MODIFIERS FOR AWAKENED VERSION OF THE CLASS! 

skill damage is often scattered/segmented and easy to avoid (flows, long durations of damage applications etc)

often this class feels like a whack-a-mole game where u are additionally glued to the ground. only moles have lasers and nuclear rockets and melt u standing. thats even without considering moles can also grab you while you are anilocked (majority of the awa kit) and cant do anything to prevent it if u wanna be protected from other forms of ccs in group pvp. often uwill use one of your SA skills and simply know virtually any of enemies around you has oh-so-much time to casually walk to you and press grab button.

whats the point of SUPER ARMOR TURRET (immovable) class that simply dies while casting few skills due to enemy damage or 80% of the enemies can press one button to "kill it" that doesnt even deal absurd damage(even with 316 ap and offensive artes and gems) due to class modifiers?



so id really like to know whats the intended use of this class?

its ranged skills are frankly weak and super slow (preawa) and will hit only static targets that dont move basically due to how badly projectiles are coded in this game. awakening ranged skill (water spere and flow) have split damage on it for whatever reason.

its medium/melee range kit is .... not medium ranged enough for its speed tbh. with how much people move and all, even bolide and magma bomb fail to even scratch people just passing by or running away from you, other less reaching spells are not even worth mentioning. slow stacking was way to drag down people to "your level" but that got butchered and these days every class has skills not affected by slows and new class even has aoe slow cleanses baked in in general skills for whatever reason.

pet flows are still capable of hitting different targets than original spells triggering them so its quite possible to further dillute your damage in group scenarios.

summoned pets die super fast in group pvp, making you lose pet blessings and its buffs. why?

very good portion of skills simply doesnt work on slopes going upwards or downwards (super annoying, see Red battlefield in valnecia 3rd node point as good example) making you shoot your slow and clunky skills and they dont even seem to hit people because of bad coding. FIX THIS PLEASE

so whats left? class is allegedly largescale specialist that cant really take damage, deal damage relaibly unless vs specific classes (which ironically u wont be near in largescale if you play your role), you need flat terrain to even function properly on topof it all. you dont feel like large scale specialist. u feel just sad. and then for that kind of performance in large group fights you are PUNISHED by performing even worse in smallscale and 1v1. wheres the logic in that?

also not to mention u are squishy, and not tanky at all.... unless in SAs with mana shield running (50 % uptime, barely usable unless mind focus artefact set) 
at the same time most tanky classes are quite tanky even when ccd because they dont lose their tankiness while outside of SAs.

mana shield NEEDS to have higher uptime for awakened spec. add more duration or lower cooldown on spell.

and then cup the grace.... they release new magical SA/FG melee/midrange class drakania, with multiple times mobility options (can utlitze fgs way better due to movement alone), with way more burst that doesnt really discriminate who it melts (everything), mutliple protected self heals, self PA, way to bypass fg(rabam), party buff thats super strong (24% crit chance for allies with nice high uptime), slow cleanses for herself and allies.....

so it seems developers know what class should have to be more sa oriented melee type. they just dont wanna give it to us. theres barely any awa casters/wizards left in nw/siege guilds (EU at least)... which is kinda strange considering its a frigging LARGESCALE SPECIALIST allegedly.


rant over. honestly, ive never felt so close to quitting the game. with succ zerkers running rampant around to a degree that annoys even other zerkers, nodewars being worse than ever before due to less and less people playing the game because devs dont balance stuff properly. succ wizard era was horrible, but this is honestly even worse. how can they be so slow to adress issues?

ive always defended this game at least in my head because of what it could be. im kinda tired of constantly waiting for it to become trully good. 

developers (like they will read this, lol) dont get me wrong, adding more shai instruments and reskinned elvia zones is nice, but that aint main content of the gme for any really serious player. and pvp community is really in a sad state atm.

Pearl Abyss dont give a shit my friend, they dont read the forum ,they dont take any sugestion even if is a ton of wizard witch feedback.I blame the Comunity Managers here , GM's and Streamers who play wizard/witch for not taking atitude or pass the feedback.There is no comunication at all.

They promise that they will balance classes after reboot gues what happend ? Nothing they lie every Calpheon Ball or Heidel.What about Arena of Solare ? They can't make it 1 vs 1 mode because there the shit it will get to surface and it will show the discrepancy betwen classes.

Do you remember that they nerfed us because of the kill ratio in Siege some years ago and they promised that they will continue monitor this fact and adjust it and for other classes ? Guess what happend after our nerf ? Nothing.

Do you remember when they nerfed Protected Area because players start crying that all the siege is going around Protected Area timers?Guess what is going on now ?All the fucking guilds is playing around the fucking Berserkers 200% bot spin.Im asking the players now are you happy that you are dying now in 2 sec of the berserker 200% spin ?Or it was much better with Protected Area ?At least there you coud do some skills but now you are dying like ants when the berserker spin.

Protected Area was a crucial skill for witch wizard to engage or to defend a place in siege because we are static and squishi.

I play from 2016 and only wizard/witch but i never saw such imbalance in this game like it is now and Pearl Abyss pretend that everything is ok and they are starting to make shai instruments.Really what the fuck did you smoke PA ?

Im waiting the summer if they are not fixing the pvp betwen classes sayonara since i dont play fotm classes.

Both awa and succ are in bad state for pvp and pve compare to the other classes and i dont think they gonna do something about it.

While im sure also succ has to chew in todays meta im sure that awa struggles on another lvl compared to succ. Succ can function on range, is alot faster and has more mobility wich puts his struggles on a lvl most other classes struggle too under the zerk meta. 

I dont think its wrong to say succ has problems but its not exactly the same and i dont think it serves this post to say succ struggles just as awa casters.

Your comments on the class buffs (Psyche of Aad Sphera & Controlled Madness) appear to be opposite of the images. Is this a tooltip error?

and thats the reason they dont say anything and keep their numbers hidden or so complicated a mathematician doesnt even know whats going on.  honestly aos is the straw for me.  if they cant get it right or implement balance changes in a timely manner, im hanging up my hat for this game.

Mana shield need it's mana consuption reduced by a lot. 2-3 hits can eat all mana and leaves you with no skills to hit, even with infi mana pot.

Both Succ and Awak don't deal comparible damage as other classes.

There are so many classes that zip around so fast there is no way to get away from any of them, even when you nearly kill someone they zip away and teleport just can't keep up, make it consume stamina or something?

In the NA vs Eu arena matches even the commentators said that they ignore the wizard (Horseyy) until last becasue he does no damage.

There are more Shai's in the top 100 of AOS than Wizards.

The fact that I can't defend as a Awakend Wizard is really disheartening. The fact that I can PVE grind on another class easier is also disheartening. I will come back ones Awakened Wizard is in a good state.
