With the consolidation of the old fishing byproducts into the new one, fishermen have been able to make a bit more money, but with this new benefit, also comes a new issue.

The only NPC that allows for turn-ins is Crio, whom is in Velia, very far away from any actually decent fishing spot, now, this wouldn't be an issue if one of the following was possible: 
A) The bottles could go into family inventory
B) There was an NPC for exchange in Port Ratt
C) You could actually transport items to and from Port Ratt

Getting the bottles to Velia is already annoying enough when you fish in Ross or Margoria, but not only that, now you have to ALSO return the new chairs over there, and for some reason, they're not marketable. 

I understand that Magnus will allow for items to be moved to Port Ratt once the area of Haso is released, but I'd like a fix before then so I can actually use the chairs. Thank you.

And why is Crio the god of fishing?  It used to be that you could turn in exchange items to regional NPC's but then they made everything go to one NPC in the world.  Cooking, alchemy, now fishing....

One NPC should definintly be in Valencia.  No one hangs out there, and it's supposed to be THE big city.  So, a few more NPC's across the world would be helpful.

After doing the Magnus questline, can't you use maids to access Velia storage from anywhere? 

1) Keep an alt in Velia. (Who doesn't?)

2) Exchange the bottles in Velia, and place the chairs into a random storage.

3) Access said storage from your fishing character via Magnus.

I don't see the issue.

The feature is only available in regions that are lit up on the map. (Not available in Muiquun and Port Ratt.)

This is actually a good point, I admit I forgot this, so I'll be using it from now on.

Unfortunately, this is merely a bandaid fix and does not tackle the issue at hand. Say I didn't have any maids, or they were on cooldown. It's still an unfortunate oversight.

You can't use the global storage feature via the storage in Port Ratt, that is true, but you -can- use your maids to access any storage (except Port Ratt) so I'll just use maids for now. Still just a bandaid fix however.

Still, having only one person to exchange items....

It bottlenecks the traffic into one area.  Let players have access to different parts of the world.  Give them reasons for living outside Velia.  Take the suggestion of Tachros: Get out of Velia!  There's so much more to the world!

Velia is busy enough.  So many players hang there, and it's due to the fact that you can only exchange there.  Open up the world by giving us more exchange NPC's!
