Suggestions/Comments: Don't host social media events that require people to have twitter accounts in order to participate.
It would be one thing if we had to 'pick' a poison to drink in order to participate. Seeing as how the current event requires Facebook AND Instagram AND Twitter though - is kind of an incredulous push for astro-turfing.
There are a lot of us who don't have twitter accounts out of principle. There are a lot of us that used to have twitter accounts that no longer do out of principle. There are more reasons at this point to not support twitter than there are to have an account and participate. The same could obviously be said for facebook/instagram, obviously.
Why not have it as a Twitch drop? Why not put the code as an option on Prime Gaming? Again, all shady corporations but at least we have options this way.

Yeah, this is a little ridiculous. Twitch Drops are fine, even extending to the Prime rewards...okay. But giving us FOMO for not having some of the social media accounts? Come on guys.
Edit: We are all very excited for the LotML, most of us have watched every trailer, some sat in streams watching KR in anticipation for the new zone. Did we really need to watch a trailer on these pages to earn a chance to win an outfit? Can't we do something ingame?

Same as with facebook or any other social media. Really wish that it isn't required at all to use stuff like that. Unfortunately it seems to be a thing among companies, who more or less force you to use garbage like facebook, twitter, twitch, prime and the like.
And now with this land of the morning light event you have to accept some shady company called gleam. More and more it's all about gaining data and selling it. Datamining is the new businessmodel.

Just encountered this post and I decided to take a read.
And what I see is your personal opinion on the usage of Twitter. Don't tell me that there's "reasons not to use twitter/facebook/instagram" - that's a YOU problem.
However, I do agree with you that there's ZERO point in using Twitter or any other social media to enter in any giveaway.
Also, Twitch and Amazon are not shady corporations. Do you understand the definition of "shady" by any means?
