Unfun Grindspot Mechanics

Hystria

  • Tower mobs glitch into walls/the floor or are stuck in an idle animation which makes them immortal

City of the Dead

  • Waiting for the priest takes way too long, this wait time is making the spot way less fun. Make the teleport time and glow animation of the priest faster.

Lower Gyfin

  • Guarantee a despair in the first 2-5 mins of grinding, otherwise the spot feels worse when starting to grind

  • Lower wake up time of the big mobs, so you need to wait less.

Ash Forest

  • At Ash forest you either pull by hitting the Barnas mob or the seed. Pulling mobs this way feels weird, because of the interaction between the mob cap and the pull mechanic. Some classes can abuse the 2 ways of pulling by making their aggro pet hit the Barnas and then hit the seed themselves. This gives an unfair advantage. I would suggest that you should be able to hit the seed multiple times to pull in more mobs and that the mobs pulled by the seed should aggro instantly. This would make the spot fairer and more fun to grind.

Summon/Pet Damage on all Elvia spots or similar Spots

Pets do not inherit the Grindspot specific buffs. This has been an issue for classes, which heavily rely on their pet damage. For example Succ Hashashins tornado pets only scale with the accuracy and ap values they inherited from the characters stats. If we look at Gyfin or City of the Dead, the tornados will always do the same damage regardless of if you have the spot specific buff or not. This makes the pets either useless or ignore the mechanic completely.

I would suggest designing the spots in way, where the mobs get debuffed in a aoe, instead of giving the character a specific buff, like the lamp at orcs. Otherwise just implement the spot specific ap buffs for summons/pets. Pets/Summons in general should behave different and should not be counted as mobs. We had several bugs in the past where they were counted as mobs when hitting other players. Maybe a general rework of how pets work is needed.
