I don't wanna judge too much the state of global lab because it's been historically inaccurate and there are also some clear bugs happening, but it doesn't look good at all for 1v1s. One thing is increasing TTK, another is to make it infinite

when u add a thread with the name "PA adding dr without a reason" i ask myself if u do mass pvp and u dont rly think that something is need to change bcz allmoust no1 is making Nw and in the end the endgoal of BDO is NW and sieges!!!! . I am not in a guild bcz i allways like to merc without being responsable being in a guild.Btw who gives a fck about 1 vs 1 ??? We have guild league , Nw , siege.

This, 1v1 is just meaningless content that only reaches as far as ego battles and the extremely rare best in class AoA tournaments. Which, ironically, is a FFA format this year.
It is actually a cruel joke at this point. Honestly, if a class is amazing in large scale - it will generally still be serviceable in 1v1 too. However, the reverse is not true. Look at tamer, warrior, ninja, succ valkyrie...all duelist classes...all dead weight aside from running around BA and skimpering along the edges of RBF.
Before someone says it, don't mention awk witch, that class is doo-doo in 1v1 and arguably the worst pick you can have for large scale, its below serviceable and moreso salvageable. Barely functioning purely due to the game favoring range so much.

That's a good point, however IF the rework goes in that direction, I don't think assassins will be useless. In standard mmorpgs, assassins usually can't kill tanks, that's sustained dps job. They will still be going to kill backline classes, just less easily. DR Zerks Valks and Novas won't do shit to anyone, since the average 80 dr + the % damage reduction on SA will hit hard on their 650/700 ap builds, but they should be capable to engage and don't die standing in 0.3s. Archers, rangers, woosas, awk sage etc will still kill the aforementioned classes, just in a slower fashion, since 850+ ap builds are already in the game, and allegedly the fallen weapons will raise the bar. Utility classes will be more useful, since the higher the TTK the higher the heals are valued in general. I think the rework will move the game to a more strategic approach, mimicking the classic trinity games, instead of the actual "montage making" approach.
At the moment, assassins kind of just kill everything. It would be interesting to see this game mix in a bit of the traditional trinity system into its design philosophy.
Let's hope PA will seriously check abilities because of the DR Eva patch goes live, some classes will be a serious issue
